Google + is awesome. One of the reasons I haven't been on here as much. I heard that the hackers that took out Sony are now gunning for Facebook.

Anonymous allegedly is clamiing they are going to take down facebook on Nov 5th.

1. I think it's fake, no press releasse on pastepin like usual etc, it's written ina different tone than normally, I don't think the main body of anon is behind this.
2.I highly doubt they could take donw Facebook, the level of redundancy and security they have is almost unrivaled.
3. They gave them several months in advance notice, allowing Faceboook plenty of time to prevent this.

My guess would be that they are pulling a Bin Laden and threatening to do something they never plan on doing, that way facebook will spend a lot of time/effort/money trying to defend itself against an attack that isn't going to come. That's the only thing I can think of, because it would take something majopr to take down facebook.
