Checking in from Kentucky, it's horrible here, the people are desperate, not enough food to go around. The electricity is on and off. People have resorted to living in trailers. In other words, just a normal day.

I'm pissed. Some people in town had a huge rapture sale yesterday. They made a sweet sign and I was going to post a pic of it but I drove by this morning and it wasn't there.

That Camping dude is living kind of modestly for running a multi-million dollar Christian mini empire. I wonder where all of his money is?

He takes no salary from it, he does it all volunteer.

I think he wants to retire and so he started this push, worked for free the whole time, but raised 37 million from followers. He then spent something like half of that on advertisements and stuff and will probably find a way to pocket the rest for retirement. It's the only thing I can think of because he's been working for free this whole time.

I think Camping was sincere, and a true believer, in his faith in the Bible, and his date determining.
But, he was putting full faith in a flawed book, so of course, he gets a flawed date.

Well before the 21st he did say rapture on 5/21, then whomever was left would have earthquakes, floods, tornadoes, and hurricanes until the earth is destroyed on 10/21. Guess no one was worth rapturing so we are all here until the end

Seems the CORRECT Mayan end date is Oct 28, 2011.
Camping's date is Oct 21, 2011.
