How much are you spending on gas now?

Gas was $4.19 here in Pleasanton yesterday. It's crazy expensive, and you can't even drive a honda ruckus here because it rains nearly every day at some point for about half the year or more.

$3.59 a gallon. I'm spending $50+ a week nowadays. But I got to get to work and back..

What dude? You know where I live. For annual rainfall by volume we don't compare to many parts of the country, but from November through June it's a constant drizzle. Our reputation comes from the frequency, not volume, of rain. Get some rain pants yo! Californians complaining about the weather, give us a break lol.

3.80 gallon 2 cars

one about 30 to 40 to fill the other 40 to 50- close to twice a week

About $3.75/gallon. I fill up on gas once a week, so it ends up costing approximately $42.00 every 7 days.

Let's just say, I may not be buying any nice bourbon or going out to lunch or dinner for a while.

I'll be broke if gas goes much higher.

Good thing we all have cheap food and low unemployment!

Oh wait, we're dumping 40% of our corn into biofuel and subsidizing the industry that never turns a profit and has a larger carbon footprint per BTU than gasoline. shoot.
Maybe if the government would only get involved and fix it... Uhh yeah they can't even keep their own doors open.

We have it better than a lot of other countries. imagine if you had to buy gas by the liter. Or if you weren't legally allowed to buy snus. Big Brother knows what's best. The CFTC already said that speculators are not a serious influence to market volatility.

I always wondered about that since you lived in seattle, do you actually drive that thing around in the rain? I drove my motorcycle around in the rain sometimes but those tires are quick to lose traction so I try not to whenever possible, the Ruckus looks like it has a different type of tire, does it hold traction on wet surfaces?

It's $3.59 here, but I'm lucky, I live within 10 miles from work and my wife within 5 miles from hers.

I had a jeep that was raping my wallet. A year ago march I bought a Hyundai Sonata. 33-35 mpg hwy. Im filling up every 10ish days for$ 33 or so. Love it!!!!

Nothing. I was tired of being a slave to gas, so I ride bicycles. Typically a fixed gear for trips 20 miles or less and a road bike for anything over.

Nothing right now I can't have a car which sucks since I have to take a shuttle or just sit around since it's a 45 minute walk anywhere, I'll be driving a honda civic and paying whatever it costs, I'll probably end up just driving to the store and back if it's 6 bucks or something but I'll drive. My parents drive an insane amount hell they drove 1,000 miles for a medical conference/visit and they've admitted they'll pay what it costs since they can afford it my mom drives a lot for work.

I wish people would realize that going from 12-14mpg to 18-21mpg saves you more than 18mpg to 30mpg and maybe buy a minivan or crossover Suv if you need it and that fuel economy goes down exponentially after 70 mph so you don't need to drive 85-90. Oh and for crying out loud if you drive a SUV or Truck and it's not necessary then don't complain about the price of gas you should know the price can go up hell it's been 2.50-3.00 for the last 5 months.

It shot up another 10-15 cents here, this week. Now it's $3.60 to $3.67 for regular.
