lxskllr said it best. He took the words right out of my mouth. The other day, I had the worst bout of nightmares since I was a kid. I loved every second of it. I got very little rest which was the only thing bad about because I get up at 2:30 every morning for work.

If you click on my profile, you'll see a picture of me standing in front of an old hotel on Mobile Bay. A friend of mine and myself walked out there one day. It has a spooky kind of vibe to it, I'm sure it's really creepy at night. But it's all psychological, and i know has nothing to do with the supernatural. It's just really fun to be scared!

I'm so pissed that I live in a time where science exists. Really, the world is way cooler if you believe in magic and ghosts and aliens and stuff. Then science comes along and tells you that you live in an indifferent universe, that there is no easter bunny, and that nazi's don't live on the moon. Way sucky.

I agree. Don't get me wrong. I've had 2 real panic attacks in my life. That is totally not the same thing as exploring an old hotel or a nightmare. But you know the funny thing about my panic attacks? My heart rate and pulse never rose above normal. It was a horrifying experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone.

I know I was just saying' .... .panic attacks are what means to be really scarred

Let me tell you something... I know anxiety from inside out...

in people with anxiety panic attacks can be triggered by a camera flash .. how funny is that.... ? that's how sensitive anxiety patients are....... :^)

now compare the hotel with a camera flash ..... just saying'

hence I like to feel secure rather than scarred

I think my attacks were due to stress at the time. I had things build up and I lost it. Of course, that probably means I'm due for a breakdown anytime now! Lol.
What you're saying makes a great deal of sense. Hotel vs. camera flash. I hear ya.
I think I'm drawn to creepy subjects, especially if I know they aren't real. In a weird way, it makes me feel safe knowing that I can put it away whenever I want.

Wait I just watched the video clip in the OP and WOW, I think the only thing scary is the fact that the fat bitch psychic is getting paid more than me probably.

They are all just playing grab-ass in the dark, there are no ghosts and they are obviously paid actors. Still not paying for cable baby, for this exact reason.

I too have had a few personal experiences, so no one can tell me they aren't real. Now the show? Not so much.

that psychic is so gad damn fake. I hate shows like this its all a performance for the camera. The students are in on it or they found some easily scared idiots that they lock in a spooky place. If they are hearing sounds how much is staged to scare them?

Personally i don't believe in ghosts or the supernatural. I tried in my youth and I didn't see or hear anything to make me believe.

The more apropos word would be observe. Believing in things for which there is no way to empirically observe is religion. That is all there is to it.

Exactly I mean come on, she's the guide and ****ing cries like a little baby. LoL I love castles and forts and I'd enjoy being there.............

                        She's a ****ing actor

Being all day into marketing, never marketed anything offline but I know how it works.......................... I can imagine that these guys .. make up a story......... and just ask a television to make a nice "SCARRY" like shit documetary to attract lets say 100,000 people a year to a hunted house and charge maybe $20 - $30 per ticket............ that's ... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm $3,000,000

                        WOhoooohoooooo we're ****ing rich !

Hmmm not bad actually, this gave me an idea

Everybody knows about Dracula, there's been books written and stories around Dracula and fortunes made as well.... probably in the 9 figures by now............ toys with dracula........... apparel.. and everything else.....

Dracula is just another story (born in Romania) and adapted by Stoker .........

The name Dracula was the family name of the descendants of Vlad II of Wallachia, who took the name "Dracul" after being invested in the Order of the Dragon in 1431. In the Romanian language, the word dracul can mean either "the dragon" or, especially in the present day, "the devil"
                        here's the entire story http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dracula.......... :^)

Believe it or not people actually come to Romania in transilvania to visit "Dracula' Castle".... in thousands every single month if not tens of thousands.

Haven't watched the clip and the majority of shows like that are nothing more than suspense shows. A lot of people won't believe until they have an experience themselves or they'll just find some way to write it off. I believe these things exist. Whether they be the spirits of the deceased or people from other dimensions that crossed over into ours due to the bending of space time I can't say, but there is a possibility it could be both. Just depends on what you believe.

I have always been skeptical. Too many times these ideas play into people's preconceived ideas and group paranoia. I will admit that I have a friend with a house that is making me question the whole concept. I'm still not sure on the "ghost" idea, but far too many odd things happen in the home for it to just be coincidence. She's kind-of like me in her belief and has started following full scientific documentation (event description, weather readings, time, her activity and location, etc) of the events to find a pattern that can be explained. So far no pattern has emerged, but something is clearly happening.
