True, but I see it not making any sort of impact except possible national media coverage. Coca-Cola makes a killing on a daily basis, no pun intended. From the 50 cents in the corner machine for a can, to the $5 12-packs, it goes on and on. I don't see how 40,000 people "vowing" to not buy their products will even make a dent.
Incident in Norway. People stop drinking coke.

I've read it. The murder of the young Norwegian student, Marianne Rugaas Knudsen was horrible, but I woun't stop drinking Coca-Cola. Partly because I think Pepsi is shit, but mostly because Coca-Cola has nothing to do with the case. Ok, they might be cooporating with the father of a murderer, but I can see his problems too.
If I'd had a son, I'd love him more than anything. If he killed someone it would break my heart, but I'd do everything in my power to keep him out of jail. It's even worse when he has to do his time in another country. It's very sad that Marianne was killed, and I feel sorry for her family and friends, but still I understand the father of the killer.
And I woun't stop drinking coke.

This is wasted effort and will have absolutely no impact on Coca Cola. It will be the retailers that feel the hurt, if there is any. BTW Im drinking Coke now.

So was I...
Well, Coca-Cola Norway have listened to facebook groups before. Surge's brother Urge was released in big bottles, and the two new energy drinks Urge Intense and Urge Intense Red Sting was released thrugh facebook groups. So was Burn Day.
But this goes beyond Coca-Cola Norway. It's their head quarters in the US who'll have to deal with this. And they wouldn't care. 4.9 million people isn't a big market, and I don't believe all of the 30 000 people will boycot Coke. I'd say maximum 10 000 will. And that number may be to high.
