My home internet took a dump, so I've been sitting at Starbucks for 6+ hours downloading some new games from Steam. Still have 4-5 hours left, but I don't know if i'll make it. This place makes me want to kick puppies... and I love puppies!
6 hours in Starbucks with 4-5 to go... /twitch

50 year old men with pony tails and Birkenstocks
Girls with sagging breast, fanny packs, and hairy legs
Go green posters hanging.............in an asphalt surrounded architectural eyesore
Some tonally banal NPR music..........piped in to complete the mystic and pseudo-intellectual ambiance
$5 bucks for sub-par coffee
All I can say Xobe..............must be one hell of a gameWhen it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

Here's my "go green" moment for the day. I stopped into a health food store. (I buy protein powder there, not organic veggies and the like.) When I parked my car, the car next to me had the engine running and the driver was sitting in it, I assume waiting for his wife or whatever. When I leave the store about 20 minutes later, the guy's still sitting in the car with the engine running. Note that the temperature was very moderate--no real need for either heat or A/C for that long. Safe location--could just roll down the windows or stand outside the car. Not to mention that the guy could have just gone inside the store. Oh, and the car was a Prius.Originally posted by SnusdogGo green posters hanging.............in an asphalt surrounded architectural eyesore

Lol, there's no game SnusDog, he's watching porn. It's 2011 and steam doesn't take 9 hours to download shit, he's faping to all the yuppie chicks that come there to show off their technical knowledge of the various milk and cream choices that Starbucks has to offer.

Psss Don't you know yet Langdell even driving 500 miles to get breakfast every day is green... as long as you do it in a prius.
Starbucks is ok to me, I wouldn't want to stay there long and the coffee is honestly not that good partly because they roast it so hot you need two cups to not burn your hand off. I mostly get the frappucinos which I found out are basically cream, sugar, and some kind of espresso powder, that or I order two or three shots of espresso which tastes pretty good actually. I live near seattle and I think there's about 150 within a ten mile radius.
Edit: I thought they charged for Wi-Fi

Not at all. I really like NPR................. especially their classical music and All Things Considered.Originally posted by raptor View Postaint nothing wrong with NPR, dog
But you have to admit....................... they always drop in some Wigzoolie tribe playing a traditional song on a flute made from a lizard and some native guitar that only has one string
2 weeks later that shit is on a "Sounds of Mother Earth" CD playing at StarbucksWhen it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers
