Yea GoVegan, I read that somewhere around here as well. Northerner owning the site isn't so bad!
I was just messing with PP. To be honest, it wouldn't really matter. Other than a few small ads, I don't see a lot of store pimping going on here and any info on sales is always appreciated. This forum seems to have a very neutral tone to it. I would be worried if I started to see positive comments about other retailers and negative comments about Northerner being deleted but that's not the case here. Free speech is alive and well (within limits) in this forum and I love it! Where else can you go on the internet and hear about how we are all being screwed by tea partiers, liberals, nazis and even UFO's in a single forum?
My favorite is when I reply to a thread that happened years ago and didn't know that it was a thread from years ago.
We should mess with the mods a bit. Every day we will go to the oldest thread we can find and then reply to it like it was a fresh conversation. We can act like we are in shock when the discussions about the upcoming PACT Act started to be posted or when we find out Level is being discontinued.

LMFAO... Now that would be funny and entertaining... You go first!

I can't believe you really don't think Ubuntu's better than OSX :^(
Mainstream ease-of-use may be the biggest determining factor:
"Since returning to Apple in 1996, Jobs has pushed the company to achieve one of his long-held goals—to turn computers into mainstream appliances as ubiquitous and easy-to-use as televisions, toasters, and food processors.
He has been stunningly successful in achieving that vision. And now he's probably done.
The tech world, today, looks more or less exactly like what Steve Jobs has always said the tech world should look like, and Apple is one of the most valuable companies in that universe. What more is there left for Jobs to do?" http://www.slate.com/id/2281453/
Apple Inc. founder and CEO Steve Jobs sent a note Monday to employees saying he's taking a medical leave of absence so he can focus on his health.
"Few details have been made public, but experts fear the Apple CEO is suffering from a rejection of his transplanted liver or a recurrence of his pancreatic cancer."

His liver's probably rejecting him :^P :^D
I think Jobs is a douchebag, and I don't like Apple's corporate style, but I wish him the best, whatever's up with him :^)
People say that OSX is easy, but I don't get it. It didn't seem any easier to me, and if you want to customize stuff, you're SOL. It's user hostile if you don't want to do things the Apple way.

You're right ... for techies.
But, for the mainstream user (in the majority), simplicity is key.
Like the iPhone (which I don't have or want).
