Short strokes is definately the way to go. That razor will give you a great, buttery shave if used properly - I damn sure took it for a "test drive" before I sent it back.

I absolutely hate all Pinaud products - like you said, bottled cat piss.
Also - stretch, stretch, stretch!!!!! Stretch the skin as tight as you possibly can with your free hand(you know, the one holding the bloody towel, lol!) If you have a hard time stretching due to the lather, rub your fingers on an alum block. Works like a charm - instant grip.
