    Economics 101 (Black market tobacco)

    http://www.nwcn.com/news/washington/...105208359.html

And so it begins. I thought it might take another year or two to get going after the PACT act, but with lots of unemployed ambitious people out there I guess it's not to surprising. I read an article in a local paper about a bust in Wisconsin (can't find an online version). They busted someone for selling unregistered cigarettes without a license. Hows that for avoiding the words BLACK MARKET. They actually did 3 separate bust of different operations. So it's showing up in Wisconsin.

I'm not sure they can put an end to it given the current state of affairs. Couldn't stop alcohol, couldn't stop drugs, won't stop this either. Not unless they start shooting people.

"A KING 5 Investigation reveals how lawbreakers are undermining
that effort, committing their crime on your dime."

The truth of the matter is:
"Politicians are committing their crimes on your dime."

Yep, 'freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose!'
Won't be long before our freedoms will overflow,
      'cause we'll have nothing left!!

Evading taxes is the patriotic duty of every individual citizen. We don't have the resources, or the big friends in government to give us money, so we need to find our own way. Instead of worrying about black market tobacco, why not makes the tax appropriate for the product, and go after the real money. The companies that hide millions and millions in cash. Isn't it amazing that companies can stay in business for decades, and never make any money. Creative accounting ftl....
