a local store would be a godsend and just about the only alternative.

It's worth keeping in mind that it would only take a very small rules change by UPS to keep all good snus out of our hands (other than those General stores). So, it's probably in our collective interest to do what we can to make sure our local shops keep selling snus.

UPS has no motive to do that. As long as they're making money through shipping there's no reason to stomp out (international) tobacco shipping on their own.

I'm 20 and cannot register at the General site. It seems pretty stupid that I'm legally allowed to buy tobacco, but not receive information on it, but I guess that's just the way this country is going...

Could anybody check and post stores in/near Omaha, Nebraska? Anywhere within 50 miles or so is fine, I'd be greatly obliged. Since PACT passed, ordering online has just become difficult, and quite honestly, made me feel like a criminal even though I'm doing nothing wrong. So I'm looking pretty desperately for any retail stores that carry any snus. General is fine for now, though I do hope that some day, I'll be able to go to a local store and pick up a roll of my Jakobssons Wintergreen... Maybe some day... Ugh. But can anybody help me out?

If you like jaks wintergreen, why don't you just become a vip snuson member. It's cheap and that's one of the limited brands they cary for US customers. there's a thread about it somewhere.

Ooh, thank you! The state's pretty spread out, but it's definitely beneficial to have the full list. Always good to have more options and backups, especially to stop by on my way back home from trips.

Yeah, I actually found that option right after I posted here. I would like to get away from online ordering if feasible (it truly is a hassle now), but I might still have to give that a try if I'm not able to settle in to a General flavor. It'd be nice to support the snus community, too... So for that promotion, I understand it comes in 3 month packages... Do you get all of the snus as soon as you buy in, or is it in installments? At any rate, I feel like I have options now, which is what I registered and posted for in the first place. I might have to still hang around here, though, it's nice to hear from other people who appreciate the good stuff! Most people here stick to smoking and especially dip, it being a relatively rural state, but the Camel/Marlboro crap is gaining ground. So I have hope that when Swedish snnus becomes widely available, that'll supplant the fake stuff. We'll see, though.
