Interesting turn of events. I like the direction this has taken, but I won't feel comfortable until the current administration is put in a forced labor camp, congress is abolished, and I'm appointed fuhrer. Er... I mean until this is permanently overturned, with no possible way of passing with only minor tweaking ;^)

It only applies to Red Earth, LLC. I hope this thing gets legs and moves forward, but I'm not holding my breath. We'll know more in a week, but we should definitely keep an eye on this.

I support this petition. The government getting involved in measly tobacco tax is just ridiculous. Of all the problems this country has with corruption of big corporations, natural disasters such as the oil spill and 2 ongoing wars overseas, they are worried about the puny amount of money they're losing on tobacco tax from people who are using snus, which is a proven safer alternative to cigarettes, which in the long term saves the country money in the form of health care. Do your research before you start banning things that are helping people. I have completely lost faith in the US government.
