Good advice. I could speculate but that would be pointless. Speaking of points, I would not mind seeing them taken away and never to return. All I want to see is good snus at a fair price and the place run with honesty and no BS. I think we'll be ok.

I agree that the points just wont fly. It will just turn this place into a full on nonsensical post whoring frenzy. The few here that already post a new post every 3.5 minutes 24 hours a day is more than I can handle, and there are certain threads I refuse to go anywhere near because of it. I mean, look at some folks join dates vs their post count. Rediculous. Id sincerely hate to see the entire forum become like this(them).....

As a longtime lurker and occasional poster, I would hope some folks get discounts. There a few here who have genuinely helped inform my snus buying decisions. However, I do not want it to lead to straight up post whoring. Perhaps if there were some member-voted top-x (x equals whatever arbitrary number) to reward those whose opinions the small folk like myself appreciate...

Yeah, I agree Blue. If there were an opportunity to make some cash Ice should definitely take advantage of it...I would do the same. I just had a thought that if any post was awarded points that could be used as a discount of sorts it's going to drive people to post more. Sure it's good for the hits, advertising and all, but it will likely have an effect on the quality of the forum. Also, I think we're probably talkin' like 10% off or something. I guess that's nothing to shake a stick at, and for me it wouldn't lead to more nonsensical posts. For some it might and then you'll get a greater number of people saying stupid shit for the sake of posting for the points. A greater number of arguments might begin...etc. Again, I'm guilty of it myself to some degree but only when I got close to a milestone. I say this, cos this is the only forum I participate in. I don't have anything to base it on really 'cos i don't have time to spend with another one. I do enjoy the hell out of SnusOn though.

So right now it's all speculation until we see what it truly becomes. The market will sort itself out in time and it's got to be competitive so there's nothing wrong with that. I await eagerly.

An easy way to prevent post whoring is to give me all the points. When someone makes a purchase from the SnusOn shop, their points get credited to my account, and I'll get a free roll of snus for every 10,000 points. Seems to me it's a win-win for everybody.

I don't really get the points system. It seems that everyone who has close to the same post count as me, has many more points than I do. I agree that there should be some sort of rules regarding the points system. I, however, do not want to see People and the World Around Us gone.

I am excited to see what is going to happen once the shop opens!

This is something we really don't wanna happen, so I hope you can respect this benefit as well and keep the forum clean that we can keep the bonus point benefit alive. No one is interested in seeing only bumps or daily spam, but I truly believe that this feature is something you might appreciate in future as well. Anyhow this will be big step for SnusOn, so there will be a lot of things we need to learn, fix and fine tune.

Yes, we shouldn't focus too much for the point system, it's only one part of the shop. The shop will offer very modern shop system, easy shopping, rates & reviews and I really hope we are able to arrange special deals and nice campaigns to you.

I agree with the post whoring (though I do it occasionally as well) I would hate to see every thread turned into that. I can't wait to see what this shop turns into!
