    Looking for good e-cig

Im looking for a good e-cig for my wife. She really digs the throat feel, so if there are any experts out there pleas help me out.

Also looking for online shops that sell to Canada as well.

    Thank you

    captncaveman,

    I migrated to snus after 8 months using e-cigs. For a beginner I would recommend a dse901 or a joye 510.

The 510 gets hot and has a good throat feel.

The 901 is cooler but has a little more flavor.

I actually have a nice red 901 starter kit still in new the box if your interested.

The red one in the middle is what it looks like:

Also have several flavors of e-juice too.

It came from an online store called e-smokey treats.

I bought it as a backup.

Trade for ??? or $40 USD

    Thanks,
    Jay

      Thank you
Captain....I would have to say the 510 is the better model for throat hit....Having used just about everything out there it does pack a pretty good punch. You may want to try RockyMountainVapor.....Their kits include two atomizers, two batteries and charger for $46 shipped(Not sure if they ship to canada...although they have just relocated to Mi),remember to include a bottle of e-liquid with your order...I can vouch for thier juice! the 510 batteries generally last an hour or so on a single charge...so it may be wise to pick up an extra also. You may want to check out the E-Cigarette-Forum or Vapers Forum for other supplier links and reviews!! Good Luck!! The Wiz!

Just curious - has your wife tried snus yet? In my opinion, snus will beat anything out there to quit smoking and at $3.00 a can it cant be beat.

Yeah she has tried snus. She's not a fan at all. Hope she digs the eCig enough to try the snus again

There's an alphabet soup of models out there now, but an important factor you'll come to appreciate is how much support a seller provides after the sale.

For many fly-by-night sellers, the motto is "you bought it, it's your problem now."

And there are problems. Atomizers burn out. Batteries fail. Chargers go pfsst.

I'm not a seller, but have settled on mostly Janty products -- Kissbox, JantyStick, Dura and Mini Fogger. These are all guaranteed and Janty has made good on every claim under warranty.

Early on, I ordered from China. Ha. Forget it. That's a black hole where your money disappears and your failures collect dust in your home. I soon learned to order from a U.S. supplier I could grow a trusting relationship with. You will repeat orders, so that relationship is valued.

In terms of that alphabet soup I mentioned: The Kissbox is my personal favorite, a penstyle with an 801 atomizer; the JantyStick doesn't look like a cigarette and uses the same 801 atomizer; the Dura-C is a 510 model. I've tried most others and settled on the Kissbox as my daily use favorite.

Note that these have attracted negative attention from the FDA and a court case is pending a ruling now that could result in a ban enforcement against future sales.

TB, have you used a vapor genie or one of the powered vaporizers to vape actual tobacco. Just curious. I have a vapor genie that I got for other purposes, but decided that route was not for me. Some day soon, it needs a full cleaning and then will play with vaping tobacco in it. Just curious if you ever have tried.

As long as tobacco itself is still legal, that can't be taken away.

The Iolite is well respected on that "other" vaporizing forum.

TB.........Not to lock horns with you(as I would certainly come up short),but I would have to argue your case on buying e-cig(parts)direct from China. I have had great luck with several orders placed with bestecigs.com.Service has always been good and product top notch. I mainly order atomizers(BE112-Penstyle),and e-liquid,any issues I have had have been resolved in quick fashion.I uderstand that one bad experience will make one cautious regarding future buisness, but in my experience with best I have yet to find fault.

All of the products you mentioned are quality products The Janty Stick,Dura-C and the prolific KissBox,but as you mentioned, with an imposing "Ban" on future sales of these products,I have been ecourging e-smokers to "Stockpile" on the neccesities(Atomizers and E-liquid's).Power itself for the atomizer is no longer an issue in the age of "Home Built" Battery Mods(which are quite easy to build if one has patience). If only an atomizer Mod could be perfected we would have no worries about a ban or regulation of e-cigs(which I am all for),E-liquid with nicotine is another matter completly!!.....I would imagine we will hear some news on this matter in the next few weeks!! Thank goodness for snus and snuff!! The Wiz!
