Interesting stuff. I remember reading a thread about whether a vaporizer would vape the sticky stuff from poppies.. I personally don't partake in any poppy-related stuff but I do think the flowers are beautiful! (and they are mostly legal to grow, only becoming illegal if you even think about lancing one).

I haven't been able to get some to grow too big though, damn heat! They are gorgeous though. Those and my freakin tomatoes aren't doing so well.

      Poppies.

Honestly, not really my drug of choice. I like pot and psychedelics now, everything else I am largely just too old for now.

So bugged my ex to make sure she write my check today, so should be ordering the vaporizer tonight!! Then, in a few weeks, i will pick up some tobacco as well and try and spend a day just using that to meet my nicotine needs. Should be interesting

lol, yeah... Not my cup o tea' but they do look really nice. Interestingly enough, some people make poppy seed tea (which is evidently strong because one young adult overdosed on it).

Sage, have you ever considered just eating the herb? I've very successfully cooked quite a few batches of brownies myself

I have eaten it before, but it is a very different high, not something I want all the time. Plus the high can last for quite a long time, so not always appropriate. But the best thing about a vaporizer, that is what you do with your weed after you vaporized it. Save all the stuff you have used, then it is great for cooking as you never get everything out of it the first time you use it.

But anytime spend the day at an amusement park, I always eat beforehand.

btw, bought my vape already. company is located in Virginia, I am in NC, plus spent the extra $4 for priority shipping, so should be here no later than Thursday.

I haven't had the opportunity to try a vape yet, but my friends that have tell me it's very similar to eating it. And they do agree that the 'leftovers' would be great for baking.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

                  Not really the same.

I am a complete noob, only had my first vapor last week, and that almost knocked me on my a**.

But I am spending most of my web forum time reading the vaporizer forum (now registered, you will recognize me once I start posting  ) The vape high is really a head high, much less body high. Folks feel energized, clear headed despite the influence, feel much more functional. Some speculate that s the absence of carbon monoxide in your system Eating it really is a much more "body" thing for me, so in many ways, the highs are almost opposite.

I promise a much fuller report over the next few weeks.

I don't like the ingestion high, but vape high although not the same thing has similarities to the ingestion high that I do not get from the smoking high. It does take a while to really sense exactly what it's like (being stoned doesn't help lol). I also tend to go through stuff faster with a vaporizer. So I just don't use it much anymore. I do hope it works out great for you tho. Have fun with your new toy!

Sage, you might be in for a surprise... I have a few friends and "in-laws" with vapes, and when I leave their houses I can barely see. They have the potential to tear your shit UP

Kind of what I am hoping.

My tolerance has gotten so bad this past year, the stuff just doesn't efect me much. i can get better stuff but find I oversmoke that, so not really worth the money.

I loved how I felt with my limited experience last week. Am hoping to get back thee on a regular basis with my new vape. If not, I suspect I will just mostly quit. Spending the money I do on it now makes no sense if I don't get much out of it.

But if it works as I suspect, just doing as much reading as I have, will love where it takes me, and allow me to cut my usage in half. Plus I am REALLY intrigued with playing with tobacco as well

I'm there every year or so. My Mom lives in Olympia. My brother is in Shelton but he is moving back to San Diego soon.

I lived in Portland for a year 15 years ago.

I "highly"recommend the vapor bros hands free or something similar.
It is the closest product that actually almost feels like you are using something traditional. It came with some camomile herb which tasted actually pretty nice. I am almost certain you could vape tobacco but I have never tried because of recent research into Polonium-210.

For some reason the vapor genie scares me for the fact that you might be inhaling way more butane from a lighter then you should be.

Why the Vapor Genie over the Vaporstar?

See this link for the Vaporstar:

                                http://www.shivaheadshop.co.uk/shop/...ong_combo.html

You can use a Vaporstar with both pipes and bongs.
