I believe there are extensive studies from the 50s on the inhalation of propylene glycol (what's in ecigs) which show that it is harmless. I don't know the link, as I know about it from a vaping YouTube video.

If you are going to try the ploom, make sure you do the mod in the last video. The exhaust can enter the herb chamber which is not great. IMHO the ploom herb chamber is way too small and it gets way too hot to hold. The Iolite is a great vape, I now use the WISPR from iolite which is stunningly good.

One thing to watch is the temperature, TSNAs can be released in the vapour if you get it too hot. There is no carbon monoxide and no tar so a massive step forwards compared to burning. As healthy as swedish snus? I doubt it but in terms of risk it is a massive improvement over smoking. The MAOIs are there and the flavour is great.

With the iolite models, the herb chamber is completely separate from the exhaust path. The exhaust is water and carbon dioxide anyway, but if you are worried about incomplete catalytic reaction then it still isnt getting into your air path.

The vapir is junk, seriously, if you want an electric vape look at the arizer solo.

Vaporizing is all about the temperature. If the temp is right, you can vaporize the nicotine with minimal if any plant matter being vaporized. The tricky part is that the perfect temp will vary depending on the tobacco. If you are happy with snus I'd stick with it. While vaporizing is certainly much safer than smoking, I think snus is safer on the whole.

Not to mention, if your vaporizing correctly, the flavor will be relatively low. If your getting lots of flavor, you're getting some smoke mixed in.

Great deal on the Arizer Solo over at Puffitup.com. I just bought another one from them for my friend. I also secured a max discount code for members of SnusOn. Get that Solo for aprox $170 shipped including a four piece metal grinder. Thats a huge savings. Contact me for the coupon code. I can get coupon codes to get discounts on all other products from Puffitup.

You can easily recoupe the cost of the Solo in just a few months. You will also save your lungs.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

The majority of e-cigarette users do not vape/inhale WTA's (whole tobacco alkaloids) 99% of the tobacco flavors are just that flavorings that mimic the taste of tobacco but there are no components of tobacco in them with the exception of the nicotine in the liquid. The majority of e-cigarette users strive not to use any tobacco alkaloids in their e-liquids, most do not use any flavorings that try to mimic tobacco. In Snus you still have some forms of WTA's in your product. You are not inhaling burning tobacco which contains (especially in manufactured cigarettes) toxins and carcinogens. Vapers of electronic cigarettes keep their nicotine (thought many lower their initial nicotine over time to zero) and get rid of the toxins and carcinogens of actual burning tobacco by lighting up a cigarette.

I've got a volcano vaporizer that I love. Never smoked tobacco out of it though.

Why? If they're not harmful and are part of why tobacco is pleasurable.
