I bought this stuff from Jayems today also, my question is: is it supposed to smell like horse shit?
not that the smell of horse shit is bad or anything..

So you mean Snus is illegal to be sold in Iceland ?!

Well, consuming it is a totally different story I suppose.

That means you can't order it either.

For example in EU it's illegal to be sold, but it's not illegal to bring snus in.

Neftobak is nowhere near as strong as regular Swedish snus, not by a long shot. Either in its dry state or after adding water. I would estimate that two grams of Neftobak equals one gram of loose Swedish snus in nicotine. Look for a roundtable review of Neftobak in the next issue of The Snuff Taker's Ephemeris.

If you want to try something very similar, Swedish Match's Taxi snuff is pretty much the same thing, ie, nasal snuff that could be used as snus. Neftobak tastes much better though, in my opinion.

I am really liking the peaty taste of Neftobak as a snus and look forward to the next issue of Ephemeris. I concur that the strength of Nef is no more than regular strength snus in my experience. Oh and I find that it bakes well enough too.

I am from Iceland. Nef means nose it is nosetobacco and i think you have to travel to Iceland to buy it.
