Gotta love this though, It always amazes me how un-educated and mis informed these people are.....

A spokeswoman from Action on Smoking and Health (ASH) said; "there is no safe exposure to tobacco no matter how small. And it would seem like a bad idea to promote the taste or aroma of tobacco, especially to someone who is trying to give up smoking."

I don't know lady... I quit smoking using snus and smoked for 40 years.... Was that a bad idea?

Yeah, that ASH quote is so typical of them.

"There is no safe exposure to tobacco. If you so much as touch a tobacco leaf, you will get cancer and die"

Hell, I'd try it. I'm not big on mixed drinks, but I'm always up for a new spirit. If it pisses off an anti tobacco zealot in the process, it's all the sweeter.

"Tobacco, taboo? Sorry man - it's a dangerous, addictive substance that causes misery and death. Just because the tide is turning against (it in the West) lets not get complacent."

I hope he/she gets run over by a bus

I read recently about hi-end restaurants in New York using tobacco such as perique as an ingredient in their food.

I'd definitely give it a go. I hear Three Olives makes a Cake flavor one too. I tried pickle...that stuff is just dumb IMO.

                      I've had this one:

It's quite nice - a bit sweet, but does taste of perique tobacco. In a really good way.

Sometimes wrong and sometimes right .... but ALWAYS certain!!!
