I was never that keen on Old Holborn. It's funny, but all that time smoking roll-ups with flavouring from liq papers and menthol from the tips has carried over to my snus habit - I prefer to have a flavour in my snus, not that keen on pure tobacco flavours.Originally posted by AllanHPretty cool roll-ups! I wonder how Old Holborn would taste in those.
Nooooooo!!!!! Ansel!!! That's NOT wanted! LolOriginally posted by AnselSuperking Camel blue wanted please!

Started with Marlboro Reds, swithced to Salem Lights for a year or two then went to Marlboro lights for awhile. All those changes were in the first five years or so then I switched to Camel lights and stuck with them for almost 20 years. Tried snus 7 weeks ago and haven't had a ciggarette since. For a long time I was a pack to a pack and a half a day smoker. Cut back over the past couple of years to a half pack or less a day but couldn't give it up until snus. Snus is so much more fun and there is such a variety. It's like I have a new hobby.

Newports as a teen, marlboro lights as a young adult and then marlboro ultra lights as a tad older young adult. Quit for a few years and relapsed and absolutely loved Vanilla & Cherry Sweet Dreams. Quit that nasty year long love affair with snus. I miss being able to buy the SD cigs, they would accompany me to bars & drunken get togethers with friends today if available

For all but three of the 28.5 years I smoked, I smoked ultralights. I had to be careful about which ultralight. Even Marlboro ultralights were too strong for me, as an example. The last three years I smoked I was ryo, using the Ramback elite tubes, which had very sturdy filters, to keep the smoke light enough for me.

Camels and Marlboros. Switched between all brands of regulars to lights, ultra lights, special lights, dead ends, 72's, wides. but most of the time it was CAMEL LIGHTS.
I also would say regularly, like once a year I would purchase a bunch of packs of CANADIAN Players Lights.
My dad was a Marlboro Red guy, Gramps- PHILLIP MORRIS COMMANDER, Grandma- VIceRoys and Tariyten Charcoal filter, Uncle- PALL MALL non filter. I was always bumming from them.

I used Kools and Camels interchangeably with pall malls being my go to cheap cig from 2002-2009. I was just thinking earlier today how I don't miss the holiday bronchitis.

That was the biggest thing I noticed from quitting smoking. Some people say they feel better in general, but I didn't. I don't get the yearly case of nasty bronchitis I used to get. I don't get sick much at all anymore. That's been a big plus of dropping the smokes.Originally posted by eyephantomI was just thinking earlier today how I don't miss the holiday bronchitis.

Having just quit the smokes 7 weeks ago (thanks snus) i am really counting my blessings that I am not smoking right now as I was recently exposed to Pertussis (whooping cough). I've been out of work all week. I have felt prettycrappy, like the flu kinda, but haven't got that awful cough yet. I have a cough but it isn't terrible. They say the bad cough doesn't come until week two. Hopefully I got on the antibiotics soon enough that it won't develop. Can't go back to work until 5 days on the antibiotics. Nice way to use up all of my sick time and part of my vacation time. Still...really glad I am not smoking. And..I am starting to feel a little better as of today.Originally posted by lxskllrThat was the biggest thing I noticed from quitting smoking. As a young teen it was player's No. 6 ... After that, maybe around 18 it was marlboro reds, then lights after a trip to the US. Then i started on old holborn hand rolling tobacco, because that's what my dad smoked. After that, it was golden virginia or drum until 6 years ago when i quit ... Then SNUS

I started with Newport shorts in a box stuck with that for about 15 years until I had a girlfriend that always wanted some of my cigarette (so annoying just smoke your own) at that point I went to Newport 100's. For a while I was ordering cartons of off brand cigarettes from a reservation and eventually at the end I still smoked mainly Newports but would buy Camel Crush, Marlboro Menthol and if I was broke Pall Mall menthol 100's. Throughout the entire time I smoked if I didn't have cigarettes I would smoke anything with nicotine in it.
