If it doesn't work out for you, I have it on good authority that you will have precisely zero trouble getting rid of Toque snuffs in this community.

As far as the acrylic bullets are concerned, get one if you wish to try it. I personally think bullets are a waste of time, and I much prefer the old-fashioned 'pinch' method, either straight from the can or from a snuffbox.. But to each his or her own.

EDIT: And incidentally, I think that's a fine first order. Particularly Berwick Brown, Spanish Gem, and Whisky and Honey. Three of my favorites there.

I got my order this afternoon and now trying to work up the gumption
to try out the Cheese & Bacon and one of the menthols.

Since we've been bandying this subject of orders in more than one
thread, I figured I'd just ask here:

DID YOU FINALLY PLACE AN ORDER??

Hey It Ain't that bad go for it.... well !! I was at my local tobacco shop talking with the owner about seeing if she Could/would get some General snus and let her know about the free General fridge offer, but that is for the other thread... anyway... I have some snuff samples on the way and wanted to wait before i try them to order...

I was looking around the shop and I saw Ozona Raspberry snuff and my curiosity got the best of me and bought it and tried it out in the car, Which now thinking about it may have been dumb, I could have Blown my brains out if i snorted instead of lightly sniffing and wouln't have been found for days.. LOL, This can was a tap out type and didn't open to take a pinch.
Of course after reading my brains yesterday and last night I had the confidence... And it was pretty damn good.. I'm sure Ozona has their fans, But I thought it had too much menthol and not enough raspberry, But what do i know.... Now I'm looking forward to trying the Toque

So Yes I pulled the Trigger and ordered

Edit.. Since 2pm I have done about 4 or 5 pea sized pinches in each nostril, But none since 7pm and can still smell the menthol kinda want more... Damn it!! I'm hooked

Tonight I actually tried the Blueberry Menthol ... very very little of it in both
nostrils and I thought I had sneezed out my brain (it sure didn't look like a
snot ... really)! So I'll wait till tomorrow after I can figure out just what the
hell I'm doing!

Yeah i didn't sneeze with the ozona, But i took it a bit too deep at one point and brought tears to my one eye... Just be prepared that when you blow your nose it will be all brown and look like somone took a dump in your nose... LOL... Damn Now I gotta buy and get a frickin' colored hankey

Try to make a small pile of snuff on the back of your hand. About the size of a pea is ok, but start small. Then hold your hand up to your nostril so the pile goes inside. You can then kinda rabbit sniff (without using your diaphragm) by lowering the pressure in your nose via tongue movement as you peel back your hand. I take all of my tap-out snuffs like that. I do prefer to pinch though and I take small pinches of scotch that I divide bet/ both nostrils.

I made a little snuff puffer that I still use on occasion. I took a bulb-pump from an old spygnomonometer and attached a piece of plastic tubing with a spoon shape carved into the end. Filled with snuff and placed in the nose then squeezed produces a nice, even distribution of the snuff and since you're not inhaling at the time it doesn't go past the nasal cavity.

"smell" the pinch of snuff rather than try to huff it in. Just keep practicing.

I just posted this for another beginner, hope it helps.

Poschl snuffs are full of paraffin oil and this makes them very heavy and very easy for beginners to take. English snuffs are 100% natural tobacco and very light but, once mastered are no problem.

Try a wet pinch as this adds weight and helps keep the snuff in the front of the nose. Lick/wet your finger and thumb take a big pinch, let it warm a little and gently place it, rather than sniff it, on either side of the septum. This method works every time. Works really well for beginners and helps reduce sneezing and stops snuff from reaching the back of the throat.

With time you will learn to breathe out while sniffing in. I know it sounds impossible but, that’s the best way of describing the perfect snuff technique.
