Good choices Getter. I think you should try the Whiskey & Honey too in your next order. Cheese & Bacon...hahahahahaha. It's actually a decent snuff. I gave what I had left to Chad in the last box pass. Rumor has it if you mix a bit into the Spanish Gem you get something even nicer.

Original is one of my favorite snuffs, but then again I love SPs. Next order try Natural too, I guess it's like Quit only with no added nicotine. As others have said the toasts are fine ground. Go to a local shop and buy a can of W.E. Garrett if you want to blow a hole through the back of your head for $3.00 and if you don't like it I'll take it off your hands. To me, the finer and drier the snuff, the better...I'll never forget my first hit of Garrett...my oh my.

Check out Snuffhouse.org and there's a wealth of good info there. Those guys (and gals) helped me out a lot. I've also found Poschl snuffs locally. There's a store in Worcester that carries probably two or three brands.

Just like snus...keep trying them and if you don't like them go back to them in a few months. Good luck.

Natural is very mild, almost aroma free, but that and its medium grind makes it an excellent mixer/extender for snuffs that one might find too intensely aromatic or strong by themselves. Works extremely well for this purpose

Thanks for the Snuffhouse link... I just bookmarked it.

I tried for some moist dnuffs 'cause I had read in a few reviews that the moists were less apt to hit the back of the throat. What with my sinus problems and deviated septum, I don't need no hacking/coughing fits!!

          Like Spanish Fly, maybe?

Yeah, I know, I need to get a life!

Is Toque shipping by Royal Mail/USPS? I think that's what's going on here but I'm not sure...

If it is the case then Swedish companies should capitalize on cheaper Swedish Mail/USPS shipping than listen to empty threats from USA's PACT.

I was surprised after I had checked off my selections that I had overshot my load by 7.

Then I went back and started whittling down until I got my 10.

Toque has what, a total of 20 snuffs? Once I give these a try maybe I'll go back and order the rest.

Yes, Toque ships by Royal Mail, and they transfer it to USPS. So far, I don't think any of Roderick's shipments to the US have gone astray, so you may have a very good point. And Roderick's not hiding a thing -- the customs declarations on the packages I've received have all been clearly marked "snuff". So either the USPS folks don't know what snuff is, or they don't care.

So, unless this happens to just be a special UK/US relationship, buysnus/snuscentral can ship by Swedish Post, label as 'snuff', and get our products for near pre-PACT rates?

I would guess you are thinking theoretically, Because buysnus/snuscentral aren't going to mislabel their product.

Yeah I don't see a "USPS Hail Mary" option in the shipping choices.

I just received an order from Toque a couple of days ago, there was no hold up at all. Everything was properly labeled and took 5-6 days to ship from UK to Tennessee.

If Toque ships without problems then Swedish via USPS shouldn't be a "hail Mary".

I'd check the "USPS" or "Swedish Post" box if anyone offered it but I see no indication that online snus retailers I've checked are willing to go for it. The snuff guys are flying under the radar, thank goodness, and I hope it continues.

Basically the online stores were threatened to use UPS and didn't question it. I challenge their insistence on using UPS unless they can prove otherwise that Swedish Post packages were rebounded.
