Identifying Menthol snuff(s)?

So my buddy at work that I turned onto snuff a couple weeks ago got his 1st order through NicotineRush and one of his picks was the Poschl Ozona Spearmint. He said I just have to try it but I was reluctant since thinking it was a "menthol" and following all the horror stories on here that menthols seem to lead to congestion and clogging which eventually send you away from -snuffing- for X days...

I tried it and *bam* what a refreshing and immediate sinus clearing sensation along with I really do dig the spearminty flavor.

Is this considered a "menthol" even though nowhere in the description does it state so? Or should I assume any thing with 'mint' init would be menthol type?

Yes, that is a menthol. The whole clogging issue is split, some say it clogs, others say it opens. They seem to open my sinuses. I prefer the menthol.

It's a menthol, but on the milder side of the menthol scale. I wouldn't advise against getting menthols. Like everything else; some like them, while others don't. I'd give McCrystal's Original & Genuine a try if you think you like menthol. It's my favorite menthol so far.

From my understanding, all Poschl snuffs are menthol. And yes, it will always clear your sinuses on first use, but many folks experience a backlash response, similar to what many folks get if they overuse any nasal type spray.

Thanks for the clarification. This spearmint just hit too good to worry about atm. I'm running to NicotineRush and placing an order noa! Going to pick up some Poschl Gawith Apricot amongst some other snuff I made some notes on for some -must tries-!

I bet you'd like Wilson's Crumbs of Comfort also. That's a spearmint/peppermint blend which is menthol like, without having menthol.

I like menthols and love the Poschl President and Packard's Club. I don't get any congestion that I have noticed and will ad O&G and Crumbs of Comfort to my list as I have heard a lot about them.

LX, the coffee bite is from Dholakia America "Wow". sounds interesting.

There seems to be an huge influx of new snuff flavors lately. I think Roderik is forcing the other manufacturers to bone up and make more varieties.

I'm pretty fond of Dholakia's coffee snuffs. Irish cream is my favorite, but the coffee cream is very good also. I think they're the same, but the Irish cream has a touch of menthol to simulate the spirit bite of Irish coffee.

Wilsons Spearmint Plus is a good one too.
