Do we need a snuff sub-forum?

There seems to be a lot of interest lately in snuff. I think it would be great if we could get it all in one category instead of the sticky it currently has. The sticky's now at 36 pages and it's impossible to find relevent info. It'd be nice to be able to look up reviews, stores, and discussion all in one place instead of spattering the Snus section with that stuff. Whaddya say?

YES!!! I just for the first time read through the nasal snuff thread and had to stop around page 20 because I had to work, and there is a wealth of knowledge in there amongst other posts. I know this is a snus board, but there is a lot of snuff users here.(snus and snuff go together so well!! )

Fo Sho! SnuffHouse seems like a great forum and all, but I don't care for the layout and it doesn't seem anywhere near as active as SnusOn.

I like talking about Snuff on here, but it is true that there is alot of interest in it lately, and I think having a individual area for it would be better, so people don't have to go rooting through that ONE thread to find out info.

I voted no, since this is a snus forum, not a general tobacco forum.

Maybe make a separate section on the front page; an extra tab, call it snuffon.

I'd suggest a link to snuffhouse. It's not as hyperactive as snuson, but they have a ton of stuff already on there. If that was a no go, then I'd say sub-forum.

Snuffhouse is a great forum, I post there regularly as well. But I don't see any problem having a snuff catagory here. They discuss snus and other things at Snuffhouse too.

I mentioned this a long time ago and was told that this is a snus forum. So I let it go. But NOW there is a lot of talk about snuff and I'm pretty sure that a new forum would be in order. So, YES!!!! Please Ice, set up a snuff forum for us.



fyi, I was also told that Ice wants to keep things simple here so it would really be a big step to get a snuff forum. I was even quite surprized when Ice put up the Box Pass forum and the Talk to professional forum. Its the same thing for stickies.....Ice doesn't want too many of them either, so I'm told.

I ran a poll last week asking if folks used snuff, and 61% said yes.

Again, my snuff usage is SO tied with my snus usage I am just more comfortable talking about it here than on snuffhouse. I still read snuffhouse, but most folks there don't use snus, their snuff usage is VERY different than mine.

Regardless of whether we have a sub forum or not, I will still continue to talk about snuff here

That's my only reservation. Like Kvlt says, this is a snus forum. What's next, cigars two doors down, pipes around the corner? I like simplicity myself.

On the other hand, people want to talk about snuff here and are doing it anyway, so this really might be the simpler solution, reducing clutter.

It doesn't kill me or cut off my leg either way, so whatever.

I guess my looking at both sides of things doesn't help. It's probably more annoying than anything. At least, I hope so.
