First snuff experience... Ozona Raspberry

I stopped at the local cigar shop to pick of a Monte Cristo and a few tins of General Whites... I hadn't had a mini mint in awhile and they had a sample tin so I popped one in. As I was checking out I noticed they carried snuff now and I had to try it... she recommened the Ozona Raspberry for a first time, I said ahh what the hell... it's cheap, why not.

I was walking home and it was rather windy, but the tin is clevery designed with a rotating lid and a hole in the side... made it easy to get a very small pinch. I got it right and immediately got a wonderful taste of slightly mentholated Raspberry (I am a sucker for anything fruity and mint).. and to add I still had the mini mint portion in. The taste was awesome, now granted I didn't get a nice nic buzz do to the very small pinch I was still impressed with the taste.

I just got home and I figured I would get a decent pinch. Apparently I took too big of a sniff and snorted some... that BURNS... I experimented with some other insulfated substances in my day, trust me when I say this shit BURNS if you don't get it right. Anyways I got some in now and its delicious, nice raspberry and mint taste, and it doesn't overpower the natural tobacco taste at all... it actually pairs really well with it.

The nic buzz is quite nice as well, it kinda brings back old memories with the sniffles and all though :shock: I am impressed, I can't imagine it is something I will do often but its tasty and nice for a change. Could be nice eating something with it too.

DrSnus, Emerson's has this and it's awesome. If you like a licorice smell, they also have Ozona President.

Licorice? I think the President is primarily menthol with a slight eucalyptus scent. Could you be thinking of Löwenprise?

Yea, it's a medium menthol. So far everything I've had from Pöschl has menthol. I do have a schmalzler from them I haven't tried yet. That /shouldn't/ have menthol, but if it doesn't, it would be a major departure for them.
