Those are both good ones...just take it easy with the Absinthe at first...if it goes too deep, you might be stomping around and have your eyes watering  Not a problem with the St Clements though...that one's easy to use.Originally posted by Pete
I would however kill for Toque Absinthe and St Clements

I'm in love with schmalzlers now. Just had a couple bumps of Klostermischung. Smells like figs and honey to me. That and WoS IHT #22 make my day sometimes.

I have been using Snuff the past week and here are my thoughts..
I hate it, totally despise it.. Why?
1. The scent never lasts longer than a few minutes
2. The dry caked/stuffed up nose feeling sucks
3. The disgusting brown shit I blow out of my nose is just gross
4. The nicotine is barely noticible thus not worth it.
5. The burn is not pleasant and neither is the scent itself..
I ordered 4 tins of Toque Champagne, PB, Pomegranate and Lavender.. I also tryed some American Railroad Mills Sweet Scotch snuff. All of which are going in to the garbage now.. Snuff is just not for me...

As you will see here a lot on Snuson, everyone has their opinions and they are all legitimate. Everyone has their own tastes and they can vary quite significantly *cough* cj and Level *cough*, but that's what makes this place a nice forum to come to!Originally posted by TheOneandOnlyI have been using Snuff the past week and here are my thoughts..

I however love snuff for some of the reasons you gave. I prefer when the scent doesn't last too long. I don't want to fight to get it away. There are some that stick a bit longer, HDT #22 is a nice example along with the F&T's. Those are a pleasant lasting scent though, but no more than 30 minutes usually.
I use snuff basically as an accent or dessert topping to my snus habit. Snus is my #1 nicotine product, so I don't use snuff for the nic, although certain ones like Rooster, HDT#22, Toque Quit and Toque SP Extra seem to hit the nail on the head. Instead, I have my snus in and I go about my day and have an occasional toot of the snuff. Sometimes several times an hour, sometimes more, sometimes quite less. It varies. Like I said, I use it basically to accentuate the snus I have in or if I don't quite need to have a portion or pris in, I will use a little snuff.
Trust me, nobody likes the caked stuff in there nose. It gets in the way of a fresh use of snuff!
The burn however I enjoy, but it depends. The burn from Toque Quit is pretty smooth and it sorta lets me know it's working. Perhaps that is why I enjoy the occasional menthol. However there are some burns that are quite sharp, so I understand you there.
As for the scent not being pleasant, well, I guess that is just opinion. Some I like, some I do not at all. I guess some just take me back a bit and I use for certain moods. For instance, when I sit back on the bed and read a good book, I use Toque Christmas Pudding. Not sure why, perhaps the cloves. But it's more of an "Ah, that smells nice and is relaxing!" sort of thing. Call me strange!

LOL Qor, I was gonna just call him a loser for not getting it.
OK, so not really. I understand that everyone is different. I do hope that he at least used it right,. Snuff done wrong is never fun. But assuming he did, and still didn't like....
To each his own. Me?? I say a little prayer of thanks every day I found snuff. That's just me.

OK.... I've been watching this thread and I've seen a bunch of posts related to nasal snuff. What's the deal with the stuff? I understand you put it in your nose, but I don't understand how the "flavors" react and such. How safe is it to put tobacco in your nose? :?
