I got two in my lsat order. They are plastic and comes in 5 different colors. I've been using them for the last few weeks and they work well. I carry them everywhere and No leaking. The lid opens up for pinching and they have a nice sliding door on the side with a tapered hole for those that like to pour instead of pinch. There is a bigger one that is very similar, though I don't have one to compare.
Yes I've been looking at those stubby2 but I like the class of wood. I'm sure they're extremely practical though - I've read the reviews at snuffhouse.
The only complaint I have about my wooden box is that under the lid are two grooves running lengthwise each side - these fill with snuff so that when you open the lid the snuff falls out from the grooves and onto your lap. If anybody knows of any wooden boxes that don't have these grooves, which I assume are to prevent the lid clamping shut, please advise.
Some time in the future I'll get a wooden box, but for now I needed something practical for everyday use. I admit they are not in the high class league, and they aren't going to win any ohhs and ahhhhs, but they work much better then the bullets I was carrying around.
I would assume the grooves are there to prevent the lid from coming off to easily and prevent leaking. Maybe someone at snuffhouse would be up on that.
Whalen - I think I disrespected (innit) your advice on S'nuff and Hopfen snuff earlier this year.
The Hopfen took a while to grow on me but it has - it's a fine snuff. So is the S'nuff. I'm afraid the Fubar was junk but I'll listen to you in future (some of the time - when I'm not playing with my own poop)

Hey everyone has their own tastes in snuff! Those are some of my top 5 snuffs, The subsequent Grunt batches have never lived up to the original. You are free to explore your own snuffs, and Tom buck and Best are classics, always in my rotation. Only snuff I have left to recommend would be WOS #20 . It has a lot of what you like in a snuff. A lightly toasted Best Sp tom buck snuff.
You have been coming thru in waves lately. Hence the poop reference. Cheers mate.
You are lucky to be close to the source! I still have a pound of Queens extra that I have not cracked the seal on. I am real curious to here feedback on the dynamite, but the Menthol crosses it off my list.
I know that a lot of snuffers have issues with menthol so I'm glad that it doesn't really affect me badly because I love WoS Menthol Plus now and again - a great big portion too. A great head clearer.
Posting this just to remind myself what to re-order/what my favourite snuffs are for re-order. It's been quite a journey with a lot of snuffs binned along the way....but my favourites in order are
WoS Tom Buck
WoS Best SP
WoS Menthol Plus
WoS Royal George
WoS Jockey Club
WoS Morlaix
WoS Grand Cairo
WoS French Carotte
These are all my re-orders for 25g tins. I've tried most of the WoS snuffs now....just princes and rose to go but I think I've got enough perfumed there.
They're all WoS I know but my nose gets along with the mill very very well. Things like Dhol White fell by the wayside - great fun but too much in the long run. Bernard snuffs weren't my thing. The grind of Toque clogs me up. S'nuff and Hopfen were alright but not on my re-order. Poschl are just weak, they deliver no nicotine whatsoever.

Dynamite was awful, just awful. It got binned. Smells like they just chucked everything in there - it stinks of medicine - bad medicine. Disgraceful snuff.
If its the Wilson's of Sharrow Princes it was my second favorite of 14. Not powdery and It is dark, above average slow burn and just really rich not perfumery like a royal George just really rich. I like doing it because it's different too re texture of all my others. It's not fluffy. It's not very damp either. Just nice solid goodness. I'm curious to hear a bit more about Cairo if you get a chance,

Cairo is like an SP. Lots of citrus/bergamot - if you've tried Toque SP Extra it's like a toned down version of that. Nice snuff. If you have a look at the snuff reviews other people describe it better than me.

Its like Hedges but with a greater nicotine kick, not as clean a scent as hedges but has the same head clearing effect.
God made two kinds of dogs in this world. You are either a lap dog or a scent hound.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Nasal Snuff. I hope you will find this Guide both helpful and informative. I have tried to pool together information and resources that I have collected over my time using snuff so that you can have them all in one place. ...

Ok guys, I just got in a small order of snuff that I placed with Mr. Snuff (great service as always Dave) ….so I thought I would share my reflections...
