So I really wanted a cigarette.. I accidently ran into a tobacco shop by me that had two types of nasal snuff. Out of curiosity I picked up some. It was Navy Sweet Scotch Snuff. I think it was $7.50 for a 1.5oz plastic "bottle" type thing. I never really knew this stuff existed in the modern day so I got it.
Been trying to kick cigarettes with a combination of dip and swedish snus. Anyway. I was weary of trying it. I said NO cigarette, opened the lid, put a tiny bit on my finger and *sniff.*
Holy crap it burned. My eyes started watering I ran to the bathroom and blew my nose. It subsided after about 60 seconds.
And I LIKED it! The aroma is still lingering around up there somewhere and I like the smell/taste.
popped some Kodiak Wintergreen in and I'm good.
Later this AM I'll use some Offroad Original (It smells like dirty feet, but tastes good, to me at least. Maybe not all the time, but it's okay. Plus I'm out of Ettan! I wish I could find a snus more similar to American palate).
Anyway, They had this Navy Sweet Scotch and they also had a RailRoad something or other. I picked this up by blind luck.. It seems I remember reading on a snus forum that nasal snuff is VERY high in carcinogens. (anyone have any idea?) So I never really thought of doing this permanently, but I enjoyed it and I don't want a cigarette.
So how is this Brand? I know you can order it online but I don't know where from.. Northerner (where I've bought snus from) doesn't sell it to America anymore and coupled with my lack of real enthusiasm for it I never really "looked" for snuff before.
