well, it is great as expected, the only thing to watch while opening the tin is that there is a plastic cover over the snuff at the top, and looks like it has been either glued on or melted on the tin, I did spill some snuff over, a tiny amount that I was able to recover , it is hard to remove other than that it is fresh and great snuff

The 6 Photos have a plastic sealer on the top under the lid that was kinda hard to remove.

just take a sharp knife and cut around the perimeter and remove the entire piece of plastic. If you try to leave half of it in place it will end up flinging snuff at you when you try to pinch from the tin.

OK. WE from the German Ebay guy arrived, today. Luckily, he only charged me 6.50 (Euro) for shipping. Yes, the plastic cover gave me some trouble, too. Oh, well. It's off now and the WE is where it belongs. That, some Kava tea and the salutary Sun City Girls album (Funeral Mariachi) on vinyl led to a transcendent experience!

I have just discovered and read this long thread. Thanks for the good words by most of you....mostly my dear friend Maher.

I have known Maher for a some time as we also share a common interest as wet shaving enthusiasts. We have done quite a few deals together and it was a pleasure to interact with Maher all through.

Having said that, When Maher approached me to find him White Eephant snuff from my country India, I was only to happy to help a friend. The one major mistake I made was to quote him the wrong pricing due to the exchange rates confusion.

I made amends and informed him of the price reduction and refunded the balance immediately. As it stands, the final price was fixed at $15.00 per tin shipped anywhere.

In the mean time I received some orders from a few honorable members which I have duly completed and sent confirmation with the shipping receipts to all .

I wish to re affirm that I am legit and I am committed.

I have lived my life, this is just a past time activity. I mean no harm to any one........whatsoever !!!!!!

One thing I found funny is the warning label. It states tobacco kills and it causes cancer. The funny part to me is the picture of a scorpion. At least India's warning labels have something cool. Like a collect them all type deal. I want one that has a picture of a cobra!

Not sure where the feet reference is coming from unless he is confusing it with Toque Cheese & Bacon, Now that can have a profile of cheesy feet if you pick at it and put it in your mind that way , But the White Elephant is nowhere near that and stands in a league of it's own...

Update - I still have my tin. I take a pinch every now and again. It's a good snuff., not a daily but a treat every now and again. Are you guys still enjoying your WE? Have to re order?

Most moved on to the snuff of the day, Cheeta. WE is a good one, white snuffs are so hard to master.

I had to quit snuff, for the most part. Between the snus, snuff and my nightly toke my heart was pounding by 10 pm. It just got to be too much and i drigted away for now. But I have a great stash now of only what I like. No more trying all the new snuffs for me.

What's the deal with the "# Photo" nomenclature of these Indian companies?
