Who's growing this year?

redheadedmax, I would do what sheilalynn is suggesting, since she is sticking with baccys recommended for snuff/snus. Although, I really wish somebody here would grow some N777 Burley, which is "supposed to have 28 huge leaves after topping, 10 foot tall plants (!!!) or more," according to bob_kemp on the fifth post from the bottom of this page.

I am not sure if he got that from Newton Tobacco Seed or not. Even I am tempted to grow burley, if I can get 10 foot tall plants.

I now have Kentucky Burley and the Havana- can you suggest another type? Am I getting the right kind for snus? Thanks.

The Small Stalk is recommended for both snuff and cigars, and the Havana #608 was recommended for chew, so I figured that would probably work well with snus also.

I just bought from here- under $5.00 for 1,000 seeds. Not sure of the quality but will give it a try.

Penyaseeds has it in stock. I have yet to see anyone with any Maryland seed in stock this year.
