Cigars online

Hi, does anyone know any online shops based in the eu that sell cigars cheap? Northerner used to have a small selection but they must have stopped sellling them. Cigars seem to be miles cheaper in europe than here in the uk

It's the same as snus in the respect that you are not allowed to have them shipped to you from another EU country, though if you physically went to the country and brought them back that's fine.

Correction: you can have them shipped to you but you must gain permission and pay duty on them, as i understand it, so in theory by post at least they would wind up costing the same.

I was heavy into cigars for a year - i then snussed and smoke a few. Now i pretty much just snus. For cheap smoking a briar pipe can be good if you have the time - there are cigar blends too.

I bought a pipe about 6 months ago actually and your right, it is a cheaper alternative. I found some really cheap cuban cigars on snus2.se the other day though and just got the urge. Was wondering if there were any other online shops in europe that just sold cigars and had a better selection, but sounds like its not worth it if you get bummed by customs

You do get bummed by customs more often than not. Cigars are said to be smoked less often but with the more high quality variety. So you could always get a Cuban from Waitrose or Asda and just smoke one a day or one a week... and if you need nicotine the rest of the time then you can snus/pipe. Asda do a H Uppmans and Punch. And i've seen Montecristo amongst others in Waitrose. Cigars are very expensive! Pipes are suppercheap, unless of course you start buying up heaps of designer pipes.

I find they hammer my throat... pipes are much more forgiving. Snus doesn't harm my throat at all.
