Beech-Nut Original. Cracked open the Red Man regular chew last night, I think I like it more than this Beech-Nut, but it's good still.

This is my 3rd day with no tobacco at all. I woke up Sunday with a sore throat, but I went on and used chew and snus thoughout the day. I felt like the baccy juice was irritating my throat, so Monday, I decided I wouldn't use anything, day went by fine, Tuesday too, all fine, and now Wednesday, doing fine, I have no tobacco items with me, which I made it a point to not bring anything, as really if I had a can of snus in my drawer, I just might use it. But my throat is still a bit sore, though it seems better. But while I still don't plan to use anything till my throat is feeling fine, I am having slight mental desires for some tobacco today, just slight, but I do have snus at home, and I have some loose leaf chew at home, I threw my ciggs away, that was a dumb whim in the 1st place, and I also pitched 2 cans of dip, as I was wanting to quit dip, because I don't like the small baccer cut. Throwing out the odd can or bag of American stuff never really bothered me, as I can get this stuff at the local corner store. But back to my point, what I feel like I am semi-craving, mentally wanting, whatever, is some Natural style dip, like Grizzly 1900. I'm not walking to the store in the heat to get it, and I still wanna be baccy abstinate till my throat feels better.

It tastes basically like they all do. Sweetened tobacco leaves. But, some do taste better and worse. I think Levi is better, I think Red Man Golden is better, I thought Starr was better. But it's good.

Hey Tom, what's the Beech-Nut taste like? I originally wanted to sample all the chew Northerner had but said f-it and bulked up on what I liked.

Tom if I had a nickel for every time your fickle ass said "I'm quitting this or that" I might have an extra $10 in my pocket right now....

Beech-Nut Original chew. This is good, but I like Levi more.

The Mammoth Cave twist, I think, sucks. It's rather hard, and it's bitter. I don't like it.

The Cannon Ball plug is OK. But overall, I am just liking loose leaf chew and just sticking with that.

I do mean Days Work, and the Cannon Ball too, they look the same. I haven't opened my Cannon Ball yet.

HaHa! If you're talking about the Days Work, yeah it does kind of look like a big fig newton the way they package it. If you're not talking about Days Work then I'm just very suggestible.

Picked up a plug of Day's Work the other day. It's different. It doesn't even come in a pouch like most plug tobaccos. It comes in the usual tan paper wrap, but they package it in clear cellophane like it's a pack of Lance Crackers. Don't really like the packaging because once you open it you don't have anything to keep it in. The flavor is good though, really different than RedMan or Levi Garrett. Hard to explain. A definite underlying something going on. It's pressed a lot tighter too, which I like because the plug seems to stay together better. You can still bite off a hunk though.
