Capri cigarettes(ultra slims) cost as much as standard cigarettes. They charge that much because people will pay it.

And besides, you can get some flavors only in mini's. Doesn't really have anything to do with price, but should be said. I'm gonna try the Catch Violet later!

This isn't just a SM issue, but I would like to hear the justification for charging the same amount of money for 10 grams of tobacco as 24 or 45-50 grams. Heck the cans are even smaller.

I would like to see minis come in cans of 40 portions or pay 1/2 the cost for the 20 portion cans.

The production cost of minis and standard size portions are roughly the same. There is fever portions in each can because of consumer insight studies that told us that the mini consumer were using less portions.

Soooo... ooookay.... let me see if I have this straight. If you use less of a product, you have to pay the same as someone who uses more, because... let me make a few guesses

It wouldn't be fair to those who use more and they might feel bad

Those who use less might feel guilty and would like to relieve themselves of the guilt by donating money to the manufactures

I may be able to come up with a few more but this should do for the moment. Do I have this right?

I'm with you right up to here. You could say a snus is a snus, and you're paying for each portion regardless of size, but fewer portions per can? Do mini users chuck the tin when they get to 15 used and buy a new tin? :^D

Agreed! Give me my 24 portions. Those extra 4 aren't going to go bad. There's still plenty of room in the can.

What the hell are you all talking about? Every mini-can cotains 20 mini portion - thats mean 5 less then original portion. Minis are 0.5g, coz smaller content of tobacco is less visible in mouth. Thats all, no metter if its 0.5g or 1g, they can make 0.5 minis with 17mg of nicotine (Thudner for example) - nicotine buzz is always the same, but SM making minis with low nicotine level for beginers or peoples, which likes low nicotine. Thats all.
