Thanks Jimmy! Got them today! Will try them tomorrow when my mouth is a bit fresher and post my thoughts. I can smell the Flader through the bag and it smells excellent! I like Flader portions so the loose should be epic. We have been asking for Flader loose for years and now we get a taste. Thanks again!

Got my samples this morning. I haven't tried the plain yet. I thought I would like it more, so decided to save it for later. I'm on my second pris of flader now.
My brief history with Gotlandssnus is as follows:
I tried Flader portions a couple of years ago before I got into los. They seemed very unique compared to what I had experienced to that point. (For that matter, they still do.) However, as I got towards the end of the tin, the flavor seemed to get old to me. I'd pop a portion in and all I got was bitterness. Now, I can handle bitter in the right amount (Love hoppy beers), but this just came across as, not sure how to put it, astringent? Anyway, I finished that tin and never bought another.
As I started buying los, I got a couple of tins of anis los as bonus tins from GetSnus (back when GetSnus was awesome). I gave them an honest shot, but I've never really liked anis/licorice flavored anything.
I purchased a tin of Gul los early last year. I liked it better than the Flader portions, but could only use 3-4 pris a week. The flavor seemed to just bash your head in. Had the flavor been a bit more subdued, I probably would have bought more. (Also, if I hadn't gone back to smoking for almost a year.)
Throughout those experiences, I could tell that Gotlands made quality products, but they just didn't line up with my pallet.
Fast forward to today. My initial reaction to Flader los is, in a word: Astounded. Much better than any other Gotlands product I've had. The green apple flavor is there, as well as kind of a floral note. However, it doesn't seem as astringent as I remember the portions being. I am pleasantly surprised. Hats off to you, Jimmy.
I've wanted to like a Gotlands product for a long time. I've liked the texture and quality of the other ones I've tried. I'm cautiously optimistic Flader los could become a regular.
I'm actually quite excited to try the plain los. I've always been more of a fan of classically flavored or straight tobacco snuses (sneese, snus? Wasn't there a thread about plural form months ago?).
I'll report back with my initial reactions to plain and later reactions to both.
Thanks, Jimmy.

Got my samples couple of days ago, thanks again jimmy.
Love the plain, nice clean, natural flavor to it. Really hope this stuff ends up on the market. As a daily user of gul los i really dread the day when my stash will inevitably run out. If plain were to hit the market, i'd have an acceptable replacement.
The flander is very good, amazing how much more complex the los version is vs the portions. For a snus it comes on a little strong flavor wise for first 5 to 10 minutes but mellows out afterwards and is very enjoyable.
If they become available i would buy both. The flander probably a roll per year, i like it but it's flavor profile is not suited for all day use for my tastes. Plain however is and i would be buying around 6 roll per year.

Samples came in a few days ago (thanks Jimmy!) and I've been using them quite regularly since.
I found both the snus samples to be superb in both quality and taste. While I thought the Flader could have gone a bit more bold in the flavor department, I find myself going back for more constantly. The Plain loose was also top notch. It is nice to have a snus that is actually completely untouched with regards to added flavors, as it seems there is no other snus of this kind.
As I said, both the quality and flavor of both these products is amazing. The grind is exactly what I want in a loose snus, it holds together very well, stays moist, and has an extremely pleasant feel under the lip. You can definitely tell these are premium products.
Setting aside the fact that I am somewhat of a Gotlands fanboy as it is, I would love to be able to purchase these products on a regular basis. I would definitely buy each product (Flader and Plain loose) by the roll when I make orders, and even more if they were only limited releases. Overall I could see myself buying upwards of 2-3 rolls a year of each product based on my current consumption. Again, I would love to see these hit the shelves as a regular snus product, as it disappoints me greatly to see that Gotlands only has 1 loose snus on the market.

Tried them both today. Flader tastes a lot like the portions but even better. I love the flavor! Plain loose is exactly that. I couldn't pick up on any flavor other than great tobacco. These are both very high quality and delicious. Glad I got a chance to try them. I would certainly buy both in rolls if available. Thanks again Jimmy!

I got mine today - reviews to follow.
Thanks again for giving us this opportunity.
Flader- this has a really nice apple flavor to it. Definitely crisp without being overly sweet. I probably wouldn't use this all the time but would throw in a can or two with an order.
Plain - this is really good and has the potential to be an all day snus. The only thing is that it seems really plain. A little smoke favoring would be nice. I would also change the salt. I can taste salt but it doesn't seem that great to me. So a little more smoke flavoring and a better salt would make this perfect and I would order this by the roll.
OK I have had the plain in for over an hour now and need to revise my review. Don't change it! This stuff is kicking my arse and I would gladly use and buy this. For some reason, it takes a long time for the flavor to come on with the plain but after an hour it is very nice. Please, please, please sell the plain los in the USA.

Finally got mine today!
My mailbox also smelled like flader when I opened it. So wonderful! The plain is really good. Simple tobacco flavor...almost a little too simple. Very neutral in the mouth but with good nicotine kick (I don't use sterks so I can feel difference in 8mg to 9mg) Definitely one I would use often. The flader is amazing. It tastes less like apples than the portion and more like elder to me, and much more taste than the portions and with that excellent gotland los texture the prillas last for a very long time. Gotland is the best snus company hands down IMO. I'm going to freeze these cans and make them last. I don't want them to ever run out. If these were on the market I would FOR SURE BUY THEM EVERY ORDER
Thank you so much Jimmy for this opportunity
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make this happen for real.
