UPS tracking

So I ordered from Buysnus on Monday morning, the package was to be delivered today but on the tracking site it says POWER OF ATTORNEY DOCUMENTATION IS MISSING AND IS REQUIRED FOR CLEARANCE. I called UPS and they dont know why it says that and I am waiting for a call back from them to get it cleared through customs. Anyone know what this means?

Just another stumbling block put into place by some bureaucrat on a power trip.
Put it into place and 'neglect' to mention it to anyone else. Sounds like the
workings of a tobacco hater just to give more grief.

You should contact buysnus ... sounds like a form they forgot to process with your order.

Just e-mailed Buysnus, hope they can do something. I am still waiting for UPS to call, they said they would get back to me within the hour. Ha.

Ok, UPS just called me back and told me they needed my authorization for the package to go through customs. They are e-mailing me the form and I fill it out and send it back and my package is supposed to then be shipped to me. We will see.

Double-damn!! I just noticed you're in Iowa... Is there a full moon in the offing?
Let's hope that by the time you get your package you won't be baying at the moon ...

Yes they are supposed to handle any customs problem... I would have let them handle this ... You shouldn't have too fill any forms out... I thought this was all part of their UPS DDP (Delivery and Duty Paid) service.

Edit: Yikes!!! I just read some things on the Buysnus FAQ and one is Regulations , I won't post it though have a look for yourself

When I checked the UPS site the only info I could find seemed to suggest that
the sender (buysnus) was supposed to electronically file the form in question...
hold off on that emailed form and keep pressing buysnus for satisfaction.

And keep us informed on whether or not they do right by you.

I have talked to someone else in Iowa that had no problems at all going though Buysnus so I dont know what my deal is. I'm playing phone tag with UPS right now because they have not sent that e-mail. I just want to read it before I decide to fill it out, if it is something I don't understand I will press Buysnus to deal with it.
