I asked the guy if he had been selling a lot of the stuff and he said just in the last week or so he has been selling like crazy. So this is good, hope he continues to sell so I can buy.

I called the Ankeny store again today to ask if they would be getting some sterk or ES in los or portion. She told me they will hopefully be getting the whole General range once their order comes in. A lot of stuff is on backorder with General right now and she had no idea when they would be getting the stuff they have ordered. SO it is definitely selling well.

Why oh why, since Snus Central is actually BuySnus, is the shipping at the latter less than half the price of the former?

I just recently found out that Iowa slammed the door on shipping snus into the state. I was very grumpy that day.

After many tries - and a few different PCs - finally got into the General locator. A few months ago, I couldn't find any place that had anything other than Camels crap. Now I find TWO local places. I haven't been able to contact the one in Ankeny yet, but the Tobacco Hut says he's sold out of General White. I still have my last shipment, so I can wait. The fact that he sounded kinda surprised at how well the General is selling makes me very happy. Only idiots would think to stop selling something that popular. So, I can reasonably plan to buy local from now on!

True or not, that's what I'm holding on to :-)

I was actually about to lookup the price of nicotine patches when I thought I'd just try the locator one more time.

Anyway, just thought I'd celebrate a bit.

Oh, and take it easy on the White, guys. Leave a few tins for me ;-)

Just an update...

Tobacco Hut, in Des Moines, carries General. I just call him up, order a roll, and it's there in a few days for pick up.

Reasonable prices. $43 a roll after tax.

He has the General fridge, and sells the line, but I'm not sure what his normal level of stock is, since I just buy the rolls nowadays. I did ask if he has los, though, and he does.

There was a bit of of a learning curve for them, at first, and a stale tin or two at the very beginning, but they caught on quick. Good service.

That list is not very reliable. I ran out of los this weekend and went to 4 different shops I got off that list. They all gave me a strange look when I asked for snus and after figuring out what it was offered me General OP or General Mint. I gave up on the los but fortunately my Gellivare arrived yesterday from Northerner. I have also noticed that many of the online shops listed on that website are either no longer selling snus or only selling it in the state they are located in.
