I believe this reference is to the Bonus Merchandise, not the Snus. The wording could be better!! GetSnus (owned by Northerner) no longer shows the BM but everything else is eventually available (due to out-of-stocks, which seem to change by the hour).

We are so sorry guys, but Family Smoking and Prevention Act is rolling out on the 22nd of June that gifts are prohibited to sell together with tobacco. If any US Government official opens up any of our package we will be fined - BIG.

Sorry that no information is available on the website about it but it will come up shortly.

We will still be able to offer "snus" in the bonus section - as a loyalty program but nothing else, maybe a Prismaster, but that's it I'm afraid.

why do you have to order products to use your bonus points? I wanted one of the mouse pads and some other stuff but it would not let me order them as I did not have anything in my basket

Yeah, check my previous post. This only pertains to promo merchandise (manufacturer give aways and similar). The snus is A okay and will be for a long, long time!

I know some of this is confusing. I'm just learning myself whats going on. PACT only applies to citizens in the USA. The PACT wording is confusing. Anyway...

Northerner and the other suppilers can ship snus and other tobacco products thru UPS no problem.

Promotional items are totally banned as of june 22. Apparently that means they can't even be in transit on that day.

Hang in there friends. To those of us that reside in the US.....If you can get what you need from northerners US warehouse there won't be any xtra costs to you except your states tobacco tax after PACT kicks in. If you live in the same state as Northerners US warehouse....PA, you will be paying the state tax and the tobacco tax. I'm pretty sure I have this correct now. The customs charge referred to in this and another thread only applies if you order tobacco products from overseas.

We need to support Northerner as much as possible because they will be the supplier that will most likely have your brand/flavor. If they don't carry what you want in the US warehouse now, the more we support them, the quicker they will be able to stock it.

We all need to be patient.

I wish I'd had more notice of this. :-( I was planning to order a couple of the promo items but hadn't yet. I would have added them to my last snus order a couple days ago had I known. So it is now too late to order any?

Possible dumb question: When ordering from Northerner, does your order automatically come from the U.S. warehouse (assuming it is in stock there) if you are in the U.S.?
