Getsnus prices dropped overnight

I'm not sure what's going on here, but I just checked Getsnus and the prices of General and Skruf have dropped like 15-20 cents a can. I'm not sure if the other brands did or not, but they probably did. Is this the calm before the storm? Are they trying to counter government mandated price hikes? Or are they maybe just trying to clear out some older inventory? Now I just wish I would have waited a couple of days before placing my order. I could have saved some change!

I'm pretty stocked right now, and still bouncing around the idea of quitting oral tobacco, but what I don't like, is the new getsnus doesn't even carry my fave snus, even if I later do want to buy some.

I don't know where you're thinking the price dropped... I made an order last week. Compared those prices to the current prices and the prices have actually risen... For almost everything I ordered (including General and Skruf)

Last week when I ordered, the price for Skruf los was about 2.81, now it's 2.67. The price for GES los was 2.85, now it's 2.71. Part of my order was five cans of Skruf Stark los @ 3.06. Now it shows 1-9 cans @ 2.91. Not a dramatic drop, but still enough to raise my interest.

Sucks for anyone who ordered yesterday. I would order now since SM said they're raising the wholesale price and pact is coming into effect soon. Shipping and taxes will cost more than the snus itself in some areas.

You have to take into account, that I bought 10 cans of GES, so that price is in a different bracket, and I bought 5 of Skruf Stark and 5 of Skruf Xtra. Anyhow, it's a moot point. For some reason, we are still not quite seeing the same prices, although we are slightly closer on agreement. I think we need a third set of eyes to make a final ruling on this one.

Something happened . . . Im showing $23.80 for a roll of Thunder Wintergreen. Why oh why can you not get Frosted? Id be ordering a few rolls like right now.

EDIT: Just saw the flatpack rolls of TF - $24.07 + $8.88 shipping = $32.95. Pretty close to what it was at GetSnus before the hostile takeover. Other brands are still way more expensive though.

I hear you! I am trying to time my orders with payday right now. I have heard, but not confirmed, that all snus has to be postmarked on or before 6/29/2010.
