    GetSnus Input

We've obvisouly did some major number crunching since our acquisition of GetSnus and as I stated in another thread, it's simply not possible for us to run a business the way the GetSnus pricing-, shipping- and freebie policy was set up before. However, it's important to us to try and satisfy all of you best we can so I figured we'd go straight to the source and ask you guys what you feel are important (if you HAVE to choose).

We just can't do the free shipping at $50 USD so that's been increased in the poll options.

    Appreciate any and all input!

I always like the half roll option. I don't always like somthing enough for a full roll. Or I'm trying out a different format of snus in the same line and don't want to risk a full roll puchase.

$200 for free shipping is a bit steep. How about free shipping on orders over $100?

        i voted other.

free shipping for every 1000 points since you have to buy 80-100 tins of snus to get that many points.

        free shipping for orders 75$ + or 100$ +

Half rolls in the Club100 for 500 points

The mystery cans are fun, but I think the half-roll discount is probably more practical.

            I voted Other.

I love Northerner, but every order takes 3-4 weeks shipping (not your fault). I ordered from GetSnus specifically because orders would take 7 days or less to get to me. That is the only reason I switched (and the only thing I would hope would stay the same).

The USA based Northerner should not take you 3-4 weeks.

How about a mystery woman rather than a mystery can?

I voted for ½-roll discounts as I think it would serve the masses best. I would suspect that most of your orders are under 15 cans and this might make it closer to 20/order.

As far as the big picture there is competition. I ordered from GetSnus and others because of snus cost rather than shipping. If I could get them 10% less else ware it's like getting another can free. For people ordering only a few cans your huge selection is enough to offset the slightly higher prices (seemingly across the board but i haven't studied them fully) so I think that ½-roll discounts will help sales.

I think the bonus point system is what diversifies you from the others. The mystery can is nice, but if you think the snus is garbage then it's just something to complain about and that's not good. Maybe look at making the bonus point system a little more attractive. The selection is paltry there. Or maybe we could use the points differently...towards shipping or what have you. At the end of the day everyone has to make a buck. For me, the point system is the draw even though I can't get my favorite snus through it. I just like knowing that i can get a free roll's worth of something from time to time. I can trade it if I'd like on a forum.

As a noob, the $200 free shipping is a bit intimidating. Discount on half roll more practical in that regard.

I am not happy with northerner buying getsnus.com.Getsnus was the only site I ordered from because it was a very honest company.Northerner stated it is not possible for them to offer free shipping on orders over $50 dollars! Getsnus was a company that helped the customer in any way possible, and thats what a business should do.I will not be ordering from the tainted Getsnus.com now.If Getsnus could get my orders to me in 3 days flat with free shipping over 50 and not cost me a literal arm and a leg,why cant Northerner?Imagine the cost of northerner after PACT with their shipping costs! Now that is a scary thought.Goodbye my beloved Getsnus.com.

Hmm, somehow I managed to not reply. Anyway... I'll make it abbreviated this time...

                          1/2 roll discounts? if it's worth buying 5, it's worth buying 10
Free shipping over $200? Not bad, but the threshold's a bit high. I'd rather see extra bonus points, or some other incentive for large orders.

I voted other. What I liked about Getsnus was the clearly labeled expired snus section, with deeply discounted expired snus.
As a runner up, I like the mystery can. I'd change that to a mystery object though. Snus, candy, junk... You might be able to score a bunch of junk from Sweden that isn't worth much, but would be fun to get as a bonus. Partner with Swedish Match, and you could get plastic viking ships made. That alludes to the General logo, without actually advertising for tobacco ;^) There's a lot of cool stuff that can be done if you think about it. Hell, a Swedish Euro would be cool to get, or maybe the Scandinavian coin set. Collect them all!!

Getsnus was owned by Swedish Match. Swedish Match snus was "free" to them. Northerner can't compete with that. Also, Northerner's been completely honest with my transactions over the years. If I had a complaint, it would be lack of communication. I think they could work on that a bit, but they're not out to screw customers. If there's a problem, it'll be made right. All you have to do is ask.

Yes I am aware of GetSnus being owned by Swedish Match.I am not a supporter of Northerner and never will be.Just my opinion and dont want to offend anyone.
