i'm not in mexico, but having grown up there, at least in my area, texas border and 6 hours south, i dont' ever recall seeing someone putting any kind of tobacco in their mouth. i know my grandma thinks i'm crazy.

There was someone here a long time ago that was from a country in South America. That's not Mexico, but I think they used Northerner and Buysnus; same as USA.

i would think that would suck though because their mail and delivery system is awful. maybe it has gotten much better in the past 14 years but i hate sending stuff to grandma, i generally send it to tx to family members that deliver things because of the delay in time.

I am in Brazil and i always use Northerner, takes a while to arrive here ( 20 to 40 days ) but works perfectly!

I may be going to Durango for a few months leaving in late May or early June and was thinking about how I could get my snus. Storing part of my stash in a cooler for a the loooooong drive down or having it shipped down there might not work out all that great.

I do remember when I was there about 15 years ago smoking tobacco rolled in a corn husk. They were sold in a red and white package and they looked like little tobacco tamales. :lol:

You know, I have been to Mexico several times and have never been tempted to bring tobacco back. It's not the same and you will feel like you have been kicked in the chest by Brock Lesnar after sucking down Mexican smokes for a few days. It seems tempting because it's a lot cheaper but it's not the same at all. I will also 2nd the comment made earlier about the mail system. It costs a small fortune to send any packages into Mexico and mail theft is very common. In fact, the rule is never send anything into Mexico by certified mail as it won't even make it out of the post office.

Who knows though, maybe after Pact passes we will all be getting packages sent to us there.
