Does using this option reduce the chances of border guards inspecting and taxing the package? Since it has a 1-3 day time frame within which it has to reach the customer?

I say avoid UPS and any other courier to ship your snus in Canada. UPS not only delivers your goods, but also acts as a customs broker to collect and remit taxes & duties. On top of that you are going to be hit with an extra charge from UPS to collect these taxes from you (broker fee).

I think you have better odds using Swedish/Swiss Post and take your chances that Canada Post/CBSA might not inspect.

UPS would seem like an automatic that you are going to be assessed taxes.
