Skoal.net - snus sale and Cuban brands too

I just did the skoal.net site, and I bought a couple bags of chewing tobacco just for fun. My wife will scream if she ever sees the tobacco.

Anyways, there is a sale at skoal.net, discounts on Swedish snus and they are actually selling Montecristo and Roméo y Jullieta snus in the USA along with quite a few other brands. Too bad the prices are high. Just about everyone here gets their cans at $3.50 plus shipping.

For someone who can't usually order cuban snus...is the price worth it?

Both Montecristo and Roméo y Jullieta are delicious. I'd take advantage of this sale if I lived in the USA.

So I guess it makes no sense to bother with Skoal.net if you are unfortunate enough to live here in Canada?

Well, I ordered a few items and when I chose "Canada" the system didn't reject my order. They charged me $4 shipping, so my guess is that it is delivered by the US Postal Service.

As a Canadian, it's certainly cheaper to buy snus from Swedish sites.

Stupid embargo. I dream the day when I can order some Montecristo snus and also go down to my local cigar shop and pick up one of their No. 5 cigars.

I was getting hopeful about that website.

My hopes have since been dashed.

You could probably hop in a kayak, and get your own tobacco at the source :P

Yeah, you and your kayak would guaranteed be seen in the Cuban TV-news. I'm sure, Fidel in person would donate you a box of Cohibas for that.

                  Cheers!

That's a real drag! I wonder how a US retailer has access to Cuban tobacco in the first place?
