getsnus mystery can

from my experience it's not a really tough mystery to crack as I've only gotten 3 different varieties multiple times out of all of my orders (general los, oden's classic, general wintergreen). Not really complaining, just curious what others are getting/have received in the past.

i noticed that when i order is mostly flavored snus i tend to get either mini mint or wintergreen.

when i ordered all los i got the general los

the ettan was when i ordered some grov and other regular portions.

they tend to tailor around what you order.

My three mystery cans to date were

Gen mini mint (a disappointment)
Gen wintergreen (made me very happy; I'd been craving this)
Gen loose (in an order of a roll of loose and a roll of Oden's ES loose. Suited me fine, it's one of my favorites)

Out of 4 orders from Getsnus, I've always gotten either General Wintergreen or General Mini-mint. Kinda sucks because i don't care for either. But hey, those go in the back of fridge for those desperate "oh crap I forgot to order" moments.

In two Getsnus orders: mini-mint and (dag!) mini-mint.

On the theory that Getsnus tailors the mystery can to the order, I'll not order any Flader or Gote Rap #2 in the next round -- maybe I'll be gifted a tobacco-forward can of something I haven't tried yet.

Good idea. I may have to do that too. Then again, they may have seen me bitching around about the mini mints and figured it out for themselves. <g>

At any rate, my last mystery can was Grov lös. I had Grov portions and white portions in the order--and nine cans of the lös in the freezer and 'fridge. It's okay, though, it is good snus. At least it wasn't mini mints.

By the way, it isn't like mini mints are horrible. I don't know why I have a stick up my ass about them, I just do. I guess it's because General Anything Else is, IMHO, so much better (excepting, possibly, the Silver, which I have not tried). This is including the wintergreen, which are mostly fine except for the huge flaw of being wintergreen.

Mini mints is the one I would not want, because I just don't like 'em and wouldn't use them. I'd probably give them to my buddy, but everytime I ask him, he says he hasn't snused in a while.

I know, I tried to give mine away to someone, and he wouldn't take 'em. Can you believe that? :wink:

And today, yet another free can of Grov loose. I order a roll (from somewhere else), and bingo, two free cans. I'm glad I like this snus.

I've only used Getsnus once on my last order.. I usually use Northerner but I needed a quick order. I got General Mini Mint.

Got my order today, I got the Odens/Thunder special, and my mystery can was..........................General White Wintergreen!

It's OK. I like it OK enough to use them.

I just ordered a mix of portion and los, so it will be interesting to see what I get. It'll be here monday.

I just hope it isn't another mini mint.
