SnusCentral/Buysnus 10% Ripoff

Since the original post has been locked, I'm creating a new thread to add my 2 cents.

I placed a substantial order from Buysnus via SnusCentral. Their site also has the 10% discount links. Guess what? I placed the order through the link and NO 10% discount :!:

When I contacted them, they told me it was an oversight and I would receive the discount on my next order. (Yea, and the check is in the mail too) :evil:

Bottom line... they have lost my business and created an aura of mistrust. My advice: If you can't view the 10% discount at checkout, your are not going to get it. Think twice before you place your order.

Let's be very clear here. You didn't place the order wth Buysnus, you placed it wth SnusCentral. This is a Snuscentral issue, THEY were the one's offering the 10% discount. yes, know they are a front for Buysnus but I am being Buysnus doesn't have that much power over them, all they are doing s selling discounted snus.

Yes... this is true; however, the e-mail I received was from Buysnus and not SnusCentral. An agency relationship exists between SnusCentral and Buysnus. Based on this point of law, both SnusCentral AND Buysnus share responsibility. JMHO.

No. That 10% issue is Snuscentral. Buysnus may offer them support. but you should take this up with Larry.

I just felt your thread tittle was beyond unfair. At least add Snuscentral so people know where the issue lies.

Larry posted in my Retro replacement thread by the way. So he IS reading Snuson these days.

Sounds good to me... I just changed the thread heading in the interest of fairness. I still standby my position that SnusCentral and Buysnus are equally responsible.

I'm not sure about that, but I won't argue your right to feel that way. Personally, I am a bit disgusted with Buysnus for even entering that relationship. It just feels vaguely misinformative

But I have a huge issue here making sure what gets posted is fair and honest. So I really appreciate you modifying the title of the post, just think it is now far more reflective of the facts.

I got my first ever order done through Snuscentral last night. Even without using any discounts, still saved $20 on an $85 order over what I would have paid either through Getsnus or Northerner. I felt really dirty doing it, but money is tight enough, I will sell my soul to save $20.

My first entry into "real snus" was through SnusCental and Northerner. After trying Camel Frosted (Sage, I like your opinion poll by the way), I did some research and discovered what snus was all about.

IMO, SnusCentral has a nice site; however, I don't like how they mix in the business side of the operation. That's why I've made snuson my home. For me, Snuson just seems more unbiased than other sites.

As far as my purchasing habits go... if I need it fast, I use Getsnus. If I want it fresh and build up bonus points, I use Northerner.

One final thought... I am amazed when I read about how some US tobacco shops are selling regular General for $6/$7 a can. Here in Western PA, you can purchase all the regular General you want for $3 a can.

out of curiosity how long did the snuscentral order take to get to you?

About a week, maybe 8 days. Typical for Buysnus. Shpped direct from Buysnus, packaging exactly the same as any other Buysnus order I ever did.
