Only General right now, but it's a good start.

Yeah, at first I wasn't to excited about it just being 5 General products, but the more I thought about it I realized this could be the beginning of something big.

They are also using the Swiss post for all non-general products. How's that work out?

          Hi there folks,

I'm sitting at our new warehouse right now outside Allentown in Pennsylvania, 95 miles East of New York. We only got the General snus selection up and running now but very soon we will add more and more products. This is just the beginning.

We opened the warehouse here in order to give our customers in the US a better service - faster and cheaper shipping. But also for customers outside USA to be able to order and try US smokeless brands.

This is the second time I'm visiting the US and I like this country very much. For the first time I've tried Beef Jerky, Chocolate peanut butter egg, Big Red chewing gum (cinnamon chewing gum - awsome!). Tried new (for me new) restaurants like Red Robin and Dunkin Donuts. Grocery shopping at Giant - what a great food selection. During Easter I went to learn a bit of American History by driving down to Gettysburg, Philadelphia and Washington - all incredible impressive places. I will be here until the 8th of May, but we have people here that will take care of everything when I leave.

          Sincerely,

          Frank

Gotta say, Big Red and Beef Jerky are two of the greatest things about America. Vaalkommen.

Welcome to the states! I'm glad you seem to be enjoying yourself so far and I hope the rest of your stay is pleasant. It's exciting to hear about the warehouse opening up and starting to provide snus within the US. It's good to see trade going back and forth between our country and yours. Hopefully it bolsters sales and helps bring new things over to your end as you've brought to us.

If you get a chance and you like beer tell me what you think of Yuengling. The traditional lager is my favorite, but their Black and Tan is also pretty good. It's brewed in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, which is about an hour away from Allentown.

                Welcome to the States Frank!!

Spend some time in Bethlehem while you're here. That's Allentown's sister city. The historic section's very cool, and much of the city reminds me of the America of 40 years ago.

Thanks for the tip lxskllr and ShaulWolf,

I drove to Bethlehem last week and what a beautiful place - old small houses in center town and one big stone house from the 18th century. I hope I will get the chance to visit the "Musik Fest" some day during Summer time in Bethlehem.

I haven't yet tried the beer you recommended ShaulWolf but Samuel Adams Lager and Millers tastes both really good. I plan to watch a baseball game with the local team IronPigs playing here in Allentown - maybe they serve it there.

                  Sincerely,

                  Frank

If you're going to be here a lot, the Bethlehem music festivals are great. Huge money pits due to buying food and beer, but great fun :^) I go to the Celtic Classic every year. It's the last weekend in September, and they have a bunch of good Celtic traditional, and rock bands, as well as the sanctioned highland games.

Welcome Frank. Thanks for opening a new warehouse in the "USA". One thing to remember while in the US.........don't eat the yellow snow.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I am shocked that cinnamon gum isnt available everywhere. I also never cared for Bethlehem PA all that much. We also should have some better food than chain restaurants.

                            However, beef jerky rules!

Welcome to the states, and thanks for helping me with my order the other day Frank.

If I were still in New Jersey I'd offer to meet up and have dinner, just to give a late welcome to the states. But instead I'm in South Carolina for college a few hundred miles away. Bah.

If I recall there were a few good cigar shops around the Allentown and Bethlehem area too. Not sure if you enjoy cigars and pipes, but there's always a few good shops.

Also, if you haven't visited Philadelphia yet, you should plan a short day trip there. There are lots of things to see in the city and a lot of history made there too. And again, I know of a few good tobacco stores that sell cigars and pipes. My favorite in particular was Holt's.
