    UPS Deliveries from Buysnus

    Hello

I am a regular Grovsnus (but I do dabble occasionally with Goteborg Prima) user from Australia. I buy it form Buysnus.com whose service and freshness is excellent.

However my issue is with the carrier UPS. So far I have had issues with EVERY delivery by UPS. I been given wrong information by their staff, delivered well after the promised date and today drove form one side of town to another only to be told my package was not there. Despite being told by UPS that it was and that it was ready to be collected.
I have asked buysnus if a different carrier may be used instead.

Has anyone had any issues (especially in Australia) with UPS?

PS when UPS asks how much snus is in a package lie. They don’t check and it saves on customs duty Works for me!

UPS has been having a lot of tracking issues lately.

I have to ship/receive stuff UPS daily at work and things have been off lately. I dont know if it has anything to do with the sheer number of packages moving right now due to the holidays on this side of the world or not, but it seems to be happening to me quite a bit with work-related shipments.

I have yet to use UPS with buysnus. I always go with the Swedish post and have never had a problem. Plus it is very cheap.

yea i wouldn't waste your money on the UPS delivery, spend that extra money on more Snus
im Australian but live in san diego and my last order took 9 days! i contacted them and they investigated it for me and the order arrived the next day.
I ordered another batch 2 days ago and they send me an e-mail saying:
Due to the High traffic Christmas period, your order will take longer then the suggested time to arrive.

At least they let me know this time

I'm an Aussie, in Aussieland...And using ups would pretty much be pointless..

With the customs and everything, which is expensive as is, using regular post saves the cost of using ups, and at the moment i'm getting about 1/2 my snus through customs without being taxed.
With UPS it says that you have to pay the taxes and it cant just slip through.

Save your money and go with regular post...I've had one order gone missing, which something between buysnus and me stuffed up and there was no street on my address and customs wont release the package. But the orders i've recieved weighed up with the cost of sending and i've saved a lot more money than shipping with UPS.

          Cheers

There was a thread sometime a while back where someone compared the regular post option and the UPS option. UPS did not end up being much quicker and obviously cost quite a bit more. This was U.S. delivery, though...

From the threads I've seen, it seems like it's a bitch to send anything to Australia. You guys' customs must be harsh.

              Welcome to the forums Petersven.

Just curious, where are you located. As other folks have said, using UPS, at least here in the states, makes NO sense. Sure, shave a few days of delivery. But other than the holiday season, Swedish Post will get it here to me in 4 - 5 days. In addition, you open yourself up to dealing with customs and brokerage fees if you use UPS. Will not have that issue ever with Swedish Post
