After around 4 months of snussin now, I decided to restock my freezer with the good stuff instead of choking down those obligatory and now regrettable newbie experiments. In addition to the now usual Buysnus I decided to finally try Northerner for some Wise and Energy portions that I've been wanting to try.
I placed my order at Buysnus and Northerner on Sunday night, and went ahead to the Toque's snuff site to get the new Whisky and Marmalade toasts. A great way to compare shipping between all three stores while stocking up (maybe a little unfair to Toque's free shipping though).
Friday rolls around and up the driveway comes the USPS truck, had to be Buysnus due to the size of the order, and it was. The winner at 5 days from Sweden to Baltimore and there was no surprise there, I continue to have great experiences with them. I still had to check out the mailbox for the bills though, and there was another smaller white package which turned out to be from Northerner! So this turned out to be a 2 way tie, and a great way to start the weekend!
Very impressive for both companies considering using only regular Post. However, when walking up the driveway juggling packages and bills I noticed the Northerner package had another small package banded to it. Turns out the Toque had tied the Swedes despite the free shipping! I really didn't think that was gonna happen but there it was. That was impressive in itself not to mention no mistakes in any of the three orders either.
Needless to say I won't be needing any tobacco anytime in the near future although that's never stopped me before. Unless it becomes a necessity I doubt I'll ever to feel the need for the more expensive shipping options. The cheapest methods have thus far have proved to be surprisingly fast and reliable.
