Northerner Issues

Dear N1THC,

To the US there are strict FDA regulations. We used to ship from our Swedish warehouse to the US, but the time of delivery was too long and the packages that were checked in the local customs would receive very high taxes, if they were even let in at all. We follow the FDA regulations for tobacco products, and the products we have available for US customers are the ones that are FDA approved. This means that our US customers do not need to worry about paying extra fees to their local customs nor that their packages are seized. As a result of that, the delivery time is now a lot shorter, and the prices on the products much lower. If the FDA regulations change in the future, we will of course change our assortments of available products to the US.

Our headquarters and customer support group are based in Sweden. English is our second or third language, so we do make some English mistakes sometimes. But, that is inevitable. We apologize if it made it hard for you to understand us.

Snuscentral and Snus24 are my go to stores now, I used to use Northerner exclusively but the selection available to those of us in the USA is really subpar

I totally agree. I will be making an order from SnusCentral this Friday and I'll let you guys know how that goes.

A search here under "Northerner issues" would show that you're not the first to have a problem with them.

Yeah I was very confused. SnusCentral even has a description on their site of how they have worked with their lawyers to ship the US safely.

I'll be using them from now on, their selection is great and the prices are decent.

Made my first order to test out the Northerner and I must report back that I am unhappy after speaking with their support.

They VERY STRICTLY follow FDA rules and will not ship a majority of Swedish Snus to the US. (Honestly can't blame them but the service they offer is useless because of this)

(EDIT: They claim that they can only send certain Swedish Match products to the US)

Many other sites do not follow the rules as strictly and will ship decent snus to the US.

I guess I've learned my lesson and I will not be shopping with the Northerner again.
