Has anybody ever been overcharged by Northerner?

I placed an order with Northerner and was charged immediately. No complaints about the shipping it was super fast. I was however charged again today but it wasn't even for the same amount as the order it was for $162 ( my order was for $158). Has this happened to anybody before?

That is odd

I would contact them and ask for clarification. If you cannot get a resolve you can dispute the charge with you CC company and they will resolve it.

I would try with Northerner first. The are pretty good about resolving these things.

But to answer the original question,.........no I have not had this happen to me personally........but over the years here at the forum I have seen it come up every blue moon......the merchants are good about getting it sorted out.

I think I've figured it out. I'm not positive but I think its just an authorization hold because its been 4 days and it still hasn't cleared.

That makes sense......well more sense than a double charge that is not for the same amount.

I'd still keep an eye on it and check my statement to make sure all the charges are correct

Update: The money was returned to my account today. I guess it was just an authorization hold.
