Nothernerns Prices & Customer Service Has Greatly Improved

Well, I gave up on Northerner a LONG time ago. Just went and took a look. Not the cheapest by a long shot. snuscentral is still the cheapest I can find. 4 rolls of thunder long + including shipping from snuscentral = 161.83 The same purchase from Northerner = 186.41. And buysnus is always more expensive then snuscentral even though i hear they are the same company.

I will definitely have to read up on some of these snuses as I've never seen them available before. I guess my biggest concern is going back to all those warning labels. Although I use an icetool can pretty regularly it's just a huge pain but i know rules is rules.
Does anyone have any word on if northerner is using a new inventory system? I remember there were a lot of problems with orders being held up because one can you decided to throw in was out of stock, and they said it was for sure in stock. And it took a few days to talk to customer support to tell them to just cancel that can.

An interesting side note on the bold type above.

The Northerner did (on one occasion) with me say: that they could not add or delete an item from my cart. They seemed to be adamant about it.

I assumed it was a software issue (and I still believe that is the case) so it was no big deal with me.

I stand by everything else I've said re their product content/prices/and amazing fast shipping.

To this day (aside from their inability to change my cart) I will never be able to figure out how they can possibly send me an order from Sweden (no warning labels) to Massachusetts in forty eight hours.

I think all the above mentioned companies go out of their way to be compliant to US and EU regulations. They are far too visible in the market's eye to continue operating on suspect practices.

Regardless, let's try not to arouse needless suspicion from outside eyes based on careless speculation. That will do no one any good.

I haven't done a test order, but is Northerner shipping these to the US again? That would definitely give them an edge on the competition, nobody else is doing that.

But, on the other hand, if they're set up with the FDA, but shipping those products to the US, they should be shipping to the "banned states" as well, if you're going to ship non-FDA snuses, might as well go all out and ship to non-FDA states.

They sent me LD, no problem, (other than them rolling my cans together with a giant compliance sticker, thus complying with all government regulations)

Just compared with the last order I placed with Snusline and Northerner is indeed a bit cheaper (90 vs 97.-€). That said, Snusline have been VERY fast in their shipping every time whereas Northerner, well, they sometimes took their sweet time. I'll stick with Snusline for now, at least until feedback from you guys tells me Northerner are indeed shipping more quickly.

+1! LD is the closest you can get to the taste of swedish camel, without actually having a swedish camel in your mouth.

I will say this.
I have had northerner on my no buy list for probably close to 2 years now. But after a quick visit to their website, I am honestly pretty surprised.
The first thing I'll note is that it is just as slow as buysnus and any other snus website? Anyone have an explanation for this? Seems like every snus site just runs incredibly slow.
The second thing I noticed is the variety that they actually have. There seems to be a complete odens line which I am not used to at northerner and especially not at my recent buy at buysnus. There are even some snuses I have never heard of or have never actually seen for sale anywhere like G20, Gringo, Gustavus, Ink red devil, kapten, knekt, LD, Lenny's, Lundgren, WOW, even a variety of taboca. Even some of the non nicotine brands seem like they are worth atleast throwing a can into. I've developed a habit at work that I must always have snus in so after 16 hours during a weekend my mouth feels terrible and I refrain from speaking to anyone's face because i know how bad my breath smells from mixing jaks melon, general, and odens 59 all day. I figure one of those Choice brands might help me atleast refrain from using so much tobacco during a day if i can just have a pouch with a pleasant taste in. I even see they have cope black and smooth hickory available? Didn't they stop making that years ago? And That monte mini fridge holy cow if i had 400 to spend on something i don't need that would be the first purchase. Along with that snus portion pillow, and of course you can't forget they offer nasal snuff as well.

Price wise i don't see any noticeable differences besides for northerner seems to edge out buysnus with jak's by quite a bit but everything else seems to be in a pretty close range. The rewards program seems to be a bit confusing for a tobacco purchasing website, and they don't really explain what the scale is for earning points like 10$spent=1gold point?

I'll be honest from a quick visit there after avoiding it for years they may convert me back. I should be receiving my order from buysnus on wednesday and with that and what is stuffed in my freezer from buysnus's summer sale it may be awhile until I need to order again. If i keep hearing good things about them up until that time I think I will definitely give them another shot at my business. Sometimes you just have to realize you have been bitter and someone has changed, this is one of those time for me. I have to admit i am thoroughly impressed.

The bottom line is that I am glad to see Northerner righting the ship. The more reliable options we have the better.

If one shop is screwing up the next shop has no incentive to offer the best deals it can.....because they know they have your business anyway

That said.....I need to clarify that I do have an invested interest in this whole matter...........and that invested interest is....

My last order was with Northerner, cheaper than everyone else, fast shipping, and no warning labels. Northerner was also discounting the shipping price pretty heavily, which contributed to the cheaper prices.
