Northerner did send me both expired snus and completely unusable badly stored snus. Lots of it!

In my opinion Northerner still owe me over £100 in justifiable refund - but their customer service has told me in no uncertain terms that I won't be getting it and there's nothing further I can do.

My story with them is over a year old ... And they may have improved since then ... But read my stories here and think to yourself "do I trust this company with my money when there are alternatives out there that haven't cheated people out of vast amounts of money"

In the absence of a resolution to my situation ... My only option is to keep hating them here!

Frankly Rick - I've given up ... my time is worth more money to me than Northerner owe me - it's very clear that they will do everything in their power to evade their responsibilities to the customer when they have messed up. I have spent hours on this already ... I can't afford to spend any more time trying to extract blood from a stone.

But in my spare time ... I will tell people about my experiences with Northerner.

F Northerner. They were good many years ago when you had to wait a month for Swedish Post delivery. But yeah they really F'ed up over the years. When they had the website glitches where you'd login and it would be another person's account I sent them a message to delete my account for security reasons. They never did.

I did make a recent order with them because I wanted that stupid metal Ettan lid and BuySnus was out of it. The order did come fast and seems accurate (crap I didn't check the BB dates yet), but it wasn't worth it and I probably won't do it again. And I thought they were taking the taxes I need to pay, but they aren't anymore? I figured that into the cost difference FML.

Well it all worked out!

Was on a trip so took me almost a week to reply - Northerner said they would credit my account for cans that weren't shipped.

I'm glad Northerner seems to be getting it together and will order from them again.

Have to say am glad I gave them a chance again and hope they do something for those that had lots of points before that system was dropped. That would probably go a long way in bringing back many former customers.

In order to save a lot of time and trouble ... Just follow these three steps:

1. Take a $10 bill to the nearest ashtray and cover it in cigarette butts.

2. Roll it up and take a bite out of it.

3. When you decide you don't like the taste, spit it out in to the nearest bin and then throw away the 10 dollar bill along with another $5 to make the maths correct.

Voila! - all the experience of ordering lots of Chess snus for the same price .. With the added bonus that Northerner didn't get your money :-D

I don't think Chess is that bad. Somebody - I think in this thread - described it as a kind of snus that would be good after red meat. Like a cigar. Agreed!

Chess snus gives you the experience of the end of a cigar in your mouth after you've completely smoked it ... without the benefit of having enjoyed smoking it!

Seriously ... if you like that then good for you! But for me it's not what snus is all about.
