Northerner shipping times

Hey im new to this site and also new to ordering online. I ordered some snus from northerner and 2 weeks after it has been shipped i still have not recieved it!! I live in edmonton canada and i was wondering if this was normal. Im getting really impatient with all this :P

From my experience with northerner, they have incredibly long delivery times. My most most recent order was places on January 2nd, and it arrived at my door on the 23rd.

In that time I went back to smoking on and off

You can expect your package from northerner anywhere from 1 to 600 days. The place has gone so far downhill. It used to just be not getting exactly what you ordered to literally giving them hundreds of dollars with no way to ask about if you were actually getting the product or not

Greeeeeaaat. At least i only spent 20$ for my first order. I wont be getting my hopes up for recieving this order soon or even ever. Back to 23$ tins of canadian dip

Most of the delays with Northerner happen in the processing phase of things.......(i.e. the item was not in stock......the order is pending shipment)

However, if your order has shipped……… it is out of the supplier’s hands and is now in the care of the carrier.

My guess is that if the Northerner site indicates that it has shipped...........it is being held up in Canadian Customs.

If you used UPS.....they are supposed to broker your item through the custom's red tape and prevent this sort of delay (this "brokerage fee" is one reason shipping costs are so much now-a-days)........anyway give it 14 days from the ship time and then try to contact Northerner again.

My hunch is that your snus will get there despite the delay

Thanks snusdog! All the shipment confirmation said was that it was sent by default shipping. I do not know what carrier they use for that. Should i expect my package this week or will customs keep it for longer?

What and why Customs does what it does is anyone's guess. Hopefully they don't sit on it for too long. It could be tomorrow......it could be weeks…..there is just no way to tell………….. and no rhyme or reason to help estimate which it will be.......It is aggravating as crap........but unfortunately it is the way things are at least for now.

One thing that might help in the future.......most folks who have been using snus for a while.........don't wait until their last can to order......but order well in advanced.......thus if there is trouble or delay.....they are not without snus while waiting........I know this is a bit hard to do when first starting...........but after a while it will help make orders less stressful

So i got a free tin when i ordered but it was shipped seperatly and it arrived today. I still havent got my actual order though. Does this mean i should be gettin my order soon?

lol. I've never had a run in with customs here in the U.S but its hard to say for sure. Sometimes bigger packages get held up and smaller ones fly through i hear.

I understand wh ene is that I paid my order with the card but the state is listed as: Pending


It has not changed since I ordered 3 days ago

Considering all the complaints from other members of this forum about Northerner, I would steer clear of them. I can't even order from Northerner in my state though, so I can't speak from personal experience.
